Summary: Drabble set during Human Nature. Joan finds a truly impossible event in John Smith's journal.

Author's Note: I thought of this when I was watching the Third Doctor serial Carnival of Monsters (fantastic story, btw), after the Doctor made a certain comment to his companion Jo.
Impossible Things
Joan sat in her room and continued going through John Smith's Journal of Impossible Things. She found the detail and imagination in his tales so extraordinary! And the journal contained so many impossible ideas – creatures from other planets, travel through time, travel between two worlds that were both different yet the same ... and then Joan encountered something scrawled towards the back of the journal. It was very short, and John had labelled it "A Truly Impossible Occurrence". Fascinated, Joan read the piece. At the end she couldn't help but laugh. After everything she'd read in the journal, all the heartache and decisions and simply fantastic adventures this Doctor had faced, this was indeed the most impossible of them all.
He admitted he was wrong.
In the serial, the Doctor told Jo that it was impossible for him to admit that he was wrong. Therefore, I thought it would make a perfect addition to the Journal of Impossible Things.
