The Cullen's Go To a Leafs Game
Jasper got six Leafs tickets. The Leafs..? Oh. Right.. Hockey.. I think. We all could fit in Emmett's HUGE Jeep. Ah, I see it, The A.C.C. All of us got food, well I ate the food by myself. Of course, Edward wouldn't let me pay. The rest of the Cullen's gave their food to people who wanted it. Good cover, I thought. We settled into our seats. The bells sounded and everyone cheered. Where were we? THE AIR CANADA CENTRE, of course. The opening anthem was wonderful so many lights and cheering. Game on. We were sitting down in the bleachers close to the rink. Somebody got smashed into the boards. Poor guy, he's bleeding. All his team members went after the guy who push him.
"Is that legal?" I asked. Edward's lips twitched, resisting the need to smile. Jasper and Emmett looked at each other and laughed. "Nope. It's absolutely illegal!" Emmett joked. Alice smacked his shoulder, "It's her first game! Don't worry Bella, it's all in the game!"
The Leafs scored and Emmett yelled. "Finally! A lead against Ottawa!" I take it the 'Leafs' didn't win many games. I had a newspaper in my hand. I was bored. Statistically, they sucked, almost last place. Ottawa was better, but not by much. "Alice? Rose? Are you having fun?" They gave me cold looks. I interpreted that as a plan to escape. "Hey, girls?" I started. "Wanna get.. Erm, a jersey?" They can't eat so that's the best excuse I had. The two of them got up at their first chance. "Let's go," Alice said innocently.
"What do we do now?" Rose asked. "Dunno. But one thing is for sure. We don't have to watch people getting smashed into boards!" That's cool, I thought. "Kinda like a girl's night out." Let's just sit for now. Relax. "Maybe we should go back," Rosalie stated within 30 minutes.
We went back, the guys looking at us asked, " Were are your jerseys?" I explained, well lied.. "I was hungry so the girls took me to get food." Emmett gave me a disapproving look, "If you girls aren't enjoying the game, just say so OR get in the hockey spirit."
I Haven't watched any hockey games before. Hmm.. I don't want to hurt their feelings. Neither did Rose or Alice. The Leafs scored right at that moment, interrupting my thoughts. The six of us stood. The girls, unsure on what to do copied the guys. "Woo!, GO LEAFS GO!"
By the time the game finished it was 6- 2. The Leafs won, A MIRACLE, I thought. "So, ladies, how was it?" Jasper questioned. We looked at each other and laughed. "Fun," we all said at the same time.
"Ready to go?" Edward asked. "There's a whole night ahead of us." All the guys nodded.
