Swallowed Whole

A/N – I was just on this site eBaum' and was enjoying reading some amusing jokes when I came across this one. It instantly made me think of Brennan and alas here I am making a shot story out of it. Now I didn't really think of the case so if it doesn't make much sense at the start I apologize. Enjoy!
"Bones, could the whale have swallowed Laura Roberts?"
Brennan looked up from her computer screen over to Booth who was sprawled out on the floor, paperwork surrounding him wearing an incredulous look on her face.
"What?"
"Booth you do realise that a Whale's throat is extremely small? Though I myself once believed it was possible".
He smiled and replied "Yeah? What made you change your mind?"
"My 2nd grade teacher. She was teaching us about whales and when I stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale she basically told me I was being silly and it could never happen".
He got up, stretched and went to sit on the couch, patting the seat inviting Brennan to join him "I'm sure you weren't happy being told your wrong". Sitting down next to him she replied "No. I proceeded to tell her that when I got to heaven I'd ask Jonah myself."
"What did you teacher say?"
"She asked what if Jonah went to hell. And I replied that she could ask."
She looked up at Booth who had this pure look of shock on his face and within seconds burst out laughing. Clutching his sides he continued to howl with laughter for a good few minutes till he eventually calmed down. Wiping the tears from his eyes he turned to Brennan grinning "Only you would say that as a child. Oh Bones I swear that have got to be one of the best things you've ever told me".
She smiled slightly back at him "Well when I was older I found out for sure that what she told me is true."
He swung is arm around her shoulders, tears still glistening on his face "Yeah well we all believe silly things when where children".
Nodding with a big grin on her face, knowing how much this would annoy Booth she replied
"Exactly! And that incident is one of many reasons why I don't put much stock in religion."

ORIGINAL JOKE
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though a whale is a very large mammal, its throat is very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. The teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human, it was impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him!"
