Hello, everyone, long time reader, first time writer(for the office, at least). I had this idea a few weeks ago during baby shower. I hope you get a kick out of it. remember, i'm still new to this, so be nice, please?

Jan had gone to lie down & handed Astrid off to Michael, who just as quickly handed her off to Phyllis, & Phyllis just stood there with this little baby alone in the conference room when she started to smell something not too pleasant.

"Uh, Oh, I think you need your diaper changed." Phyllis said to the small child just as Jim was walking by.

"She does?"

"Uh-huh."

Without another word, Jim walked into the conference room & walked over to an empty table.

"Put her down here, & bring me her things from over there, Phyllis." Jim said as he pointed to a diaper bag over by the couch.

"What's going on here, guys?" Andy said looking in to the conference room.

"I'm changing Astrid, actually, Andy, could you time me?" Jim asked.

"Oooooooookay." Andy responded to the unusual request.

In almost a flash, Jim managed to get the dirty diaper off, wipe her bottom, apply some talcum powder, & put on a new diaper.

"Done! Time!"

"A minute, ten!"

Jim heard light applause & turned to see a small crowd had gathered around the door.

"Tuna, that was...amazing!"

"Thanks, I've had a lot of practice on my brothers' kids, & we like being clean now, don't we?" Jim said as he picked up a smiling Astrid.

"You're gonna be a great dad someday, Jim," Jim heard from Oscar.

"Thanks, I don't know, maybe someday, I wouldn't mind a boy, someone I can take to Sixers games & buy one of those onesie jerseys for, I don't know, though, I could get awfully attached to a little girl." Jim said looking at Astrid before handing her back to Phyllis & walking back to his desk.

Later, Jim couldn't help but smile seeing Andy & Angela carrying Astrid into the back room, something about taking a picture, he turned forward & thought of Pam & him & maybe one day a kid of their own.

"One day" Jim whispered to himself, "one day."

what did you think? review please!
