Karigan walked along the corridors hidden with her ability. Soon, the walk turned into a jog. She looked over her shoulders; no one was following. She stopped to a halt as she came across a pair of double doors for the king's chamber. She quietly opened the door and slipped into the room.

She took off her green coat and dropped it to the floor as she walked towards the king, who was sitting on his bed as he motioned with his hand for her to join him. Karigan walked over and sat next to him, looking at him with hope filled eyes. King Zachary leaned towards her and…

Grabbed the plate just past of the girl. He grabbed it and placed it on her lap.

"Thank you, Excellently" she said, taking a bite of the sweet bread on the plate. She had just gotten back a few minutes ago and it was now long past time for supper and there was nothing left for her, a Green Rider grouped with lowly servants.

"No problem" Zachary said with a smile upon his lips.

"I just don't get it" Karigan said after swallowing the bread. "Why did I have to sneak into you're chamber for, um, food?" she asked.

"Your captain wanted me to work without interruption, but I figured I couldn't let you starve," he said.

"W-well then, I should leave now so you can get back to your duties," she said getting up, still holding the plate in her hands.

"But before you go," Zachary said, getting up when the girl did so, but before another moment passed, he pulled her towards him and planted a kiss on the girl's soft lips.

Karigan pulled away from him and looked up at him in shock before running out of the room, relying on her ability as she ran down the corridor. The further she ran, the slower she got. Finally, she stopped completely, leaning against the wall as she pulled off her ability. She blushed as she brought her hand up to her lips, wishing that the moment could have lasted longer.
