AJ's beautiful brown eyes gazed lovingly down at me.
"I'll say it two times. I love you, I love you." I grinned up at him, and pressed my mouth gently to his. At this small gesture, he eagerly took my hair in his hands. His lips parted mine, his tongue filling my mouth. I grasped urgently at the nape of his neck, pressing him closer, closer, ever closer. I could have lived forever in his kiss, in his warm, secure embrace. Passion flooded through him and into me as he wrapped his arms firmly around my waist, lifting me off the floor. I immediately straddled him, letting my arms wrap, viselike, around his neck, pushing my hips against his. My hands curved around the back of his head and lifted his fedora off, placing it on the top of my head, grinning as I bit his lower lip.
A breathy moan escaped his lips, and then those perfect lips curved around the contour of my neck. He held me tighter against his chest as his mouth explored my collarbone, trailing light kisses to the hollow of my throat. I let my head fall back and moaned softly as the trail led back to my lips.
I felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, reverberating through my thigh before I heard it go off.
"Shit," he breathed, sighing and putting me down. The fact that his phone had gone off meant that he had to leave me. Well, he was supposed to leave me, anyway.
"Don't go," I pleaded, begging him to stay only a few more minutes.
"Tell you what. I will find my way to the Moonlight. Meet me there in three hours. Baby, we're gonna run this town, jump the fence. We're leavin', and we're never gonna stop runnin'. AJ grinned fiendishly at me, making his bad-boy demeanor all the more appealing. "I love you, and I know you love me. Come here."
