THE TAMING OF THE SHREW ITAKO
Welcome once again to Keitorin's Masterpiece Theater. You might've heard of
one of my other productions, Hamlet, starring the cast of YuYu Hakusho.
However, Team Urimeshi is currently on the planet Yugopotamia, fighting in
the Light Tournament against the current champions, Team Timmy Turner. So
starring in this play are the combined casts of Shaman King and Rurouni
Kenshin. I suppose I'll start off by announcing the cast members in order
of appearance. Firstly, Christopher Sly will by played by Sanosuke Sagara.
Sano: Eh? Where am I?
See? He's perfect for the part. The Hostess will be played by Tae.
Tae: *grumbles* That's basically all I do right now. I want to be Katharina!
Oh, you divas. The Lord will be played by Makoto Shishio.
Shishio: Oh, now there's a role I was born to play. Lord Shishio. . . It has such a nice ring.
And the Lord's two huntsmen will be played by Hoji and Yumi. The team of traveling players are our special guest stars, the Zero-Zero Cyborgs.
Zero-Zero-Six: Oh, how I adore the stage!
Okay, okay, enough! No monologues! The role of the cross-dressing page boy will be played by Yahiko Myoujin.
Yahiko: WHAT!?!?!?!?! Sano: *turns green*
It could be worse. You could be Kate.
Yahiko: *shudders.*
Lucentio will be played by Tao Ren.
Ren: Eh? I'm in this?
Yes. You're after Bianca.
Ren: Okay. . .
Tranio, who is LuRenTio's servant, will be played by Horo Horo.
HoroHoro: Yay! Do I get to kiss a girl?
Eh. . . no.
HoroHoro: Darnit!
Baptista, the father of Bianca and Katharina, will be played by Kenshin.
Kaoru: Wait! I'm in this play, right?
Oops, I forgot. *sweat drop* You can be BapKenIsta's dead wife.
Kaoru: Wow, thanks a lot.
Gremio, Hortensio, and Biondello will be played by Manta, Ryu, and Hao, respectively.
Manta: Um, what do we do?
No idea yet. I haven't read this play in a while.
All Cast Members: *sweat drop.*
Bianca, Katharina's pretty sister, will be played by Pilika.
Pilika: GOODY!!!! HoroHoro: Wait a minute. . . Doesn't that mean she marries little Mr. Shorty Pants? Ren: GOODY!!!!
Yes, it does.
HoroHoro: AUGH!!! I CAN'T WORK LIKE THIS! Pilika: Oh, shut up.
Grumio, Petruchio's servant, will be played by Amidamaru.
Amidamaru: This Shakespeare person wrote how many plays? Thirty-eight? He must have not had a real life. . .
Almost as much life as me. Now for the lead roles of Petruchio and Katharina. . . Petruchio will be played by Yoh and Katharina will be played by Anna.
Yoh and Anna: *gasp*
Well, what do you expect? It IS called "Taming of the Itako," after all.
Yoh and Anna: *gulp.*
Well, PetrYohChio and KathAnnaRina, I'll see you in a few days when the recording starts. This should be quite interseting. . .
