First point of view isn't usually my style, but it works for this. Tony's POV

I don't know if it's some sick joke upon me by the universe, but it happens so often. If it is a joke, the only people laughing are my friends. For some reason they just love to see me in pain. I personally do not, ever, think it has been funny. There is nothing funny about losing something close to you. And yet, it still happens, and continues to happen.

To describe the feeling accurately: It's like your heart is being torn out of your body. Especially if you have to watch it. There is a moment of wanting to scream about how unfair it all is. It's unfair that the person that cares most always has that thing ripped away from them. Compared to some of my co-workers, I'm not even that reckless! But it happens anyway, making the world it's unfair self. Most of the way through it, you just want to cry because there goes another and having something you love taken away from you is always something to be emotional about. By the end of it all, you realize you just have to move on and get another.

That sounds juvenile, to just replace a loved one, but it needs to happen. That is the only way to survive. But then there is the problem of replacing. It is never easy, no matter what other people say. Replacing something close makes you feel guilty because it means that you don't need the past one, which is completely untrue. But you can't help feeling that way. Not to mention with my line of work, it's almost impossible to find the time to look for one the meets the requirements. And on the off chance you do find something, you'll need more time to care for it.

But I can't complain about that out loud or people will just tell me it's useless to complain about something so petty, so inanimate. I disagree with that, it is a huge deal, but I can't stop people from having their own opinions. No matter how much I try.

So eventually, after months of grueling work to build up the requirements I need to replace the past loved one, I managed to convince my boss one afternoon to let me have one day off to go in search for the replacement. And she is a beauty. Now all I'm hoping is that this one doesn't manage to get stolen, blown up, or into a nasty accident because Mustangs are expensive, and I don't think I have enough money for a fourth.

Yes, it was about a car. Tony is the only one that has had his car completely ruined, three times. I felt bad for him after I calmed down after what happened last night...Might die in anxiety before the next episode. Who's with me?
