From the looks of it, Gopher was being royally screwed over by the priest. Several intricate words lay on the board in various directions.
"How dare you look at my letters – !"
He shoved Gopher's large head out of the way to get a look at his stuff. "What. What. Are you blind? Even I know you can spell a word with this shit!"
Ignoring Gopher's protests, Giriko reached out and grabbed a handful of letter pieces, dropping them one after the other on the square slots of the game board. It spelled:
M - A - N
And there it was - Giriko's INTELLIGENT MOMENT OF THE WEEK. Gosh, Arachne-niisan would have been so proud of him.
"PUT THEM BACK!"
"You know the rule, Gopher-san. Once the pieces touch the board, they stay there," Justin said smoothly.
Gopher let out a yell and clutched his head. "I was so close! I was missing an H - just a single letter! Arrrgh, you blasted chainsaw fool. I'll smite you for this!"
"What the hell do you need an H for? HAM? Shit, boy. I thought you were smarter than that."
"Anagrams, Giriko." Douchepope.
"Nah, you're gonna have to spell that one out for me."
The priest looked like he's going to make a great witty retort, but Gopher beat him to the punch, getting all up in Giriko's face.
"I WAS TRYING TO SPELL NOAH-SAMA, YOU FOOL! I spent four turns amassing the right letters - and then you – just – just like that - I'll kill you!"
Yet instead of responding to shouting with more shouting like he would in any other circumstance, Giriko simply regarded Gopher with an unimpressed look.
"Shit. You really are stupid, aren't you? Listen up boy - you can have up to seven letters at one time. Even I know that!" A deranged grin made its way to his face. "THERE GOES YOUR PLAN TO SPELL THE BOSSMAN'S NAME, HM?"
…
…
…
Gopher could not run off fast enough.
Bawling could be heard as he scrambled down the hallway.
A beat.
"… th' fuck was that," Giriko deadpanned, staring at the door Gopher bolted through.
"I tried to tell him, but he wouldn't listen…" Justin sighed, tapping one of his wooden pieces on the table, "In any case, it's my turn."
A - S - U - R - A
