I've always loved Grawp...review!

POV Grawp

When I meet her, I been feeling sad. Hermione not love me the way I love her. Wish I could show her how I feel, but I can't show well my feelings, being a giant. She love me not, and I be all alone. Well, I have Hagrid, my big brother, but he is almost never visiting me. I am real alone. I didn't need someone to love me, just needed a friend, a friend who gets me. The only others around all the time were the spiders and the ponies, and also a few others i don't know, but they're not very friendly, and some try to bite me. No one nice came by my tree to which I am stuck. They were scared of me, and all I wanted was a friend.

POV Giant Squid

It's winter. There is ice covering my home, and snow on top of that. This is the loneliest time of year for me. When it's warm, the children of the school come and play in my house. Sometimes I try to play with them, but they swim away. I think they find me intimidating. That's alright, at least they're there, around me. In the winter, however, no one ever visits. I don't think they can get through the ice. They stay above the surface of my home, skating across the ice, playing in the snow, but never visiting. They use my home for their own purposes, yet never even stop to chat when they see me. No one understands me. I haven't a friend in the world.

POV Grawp

I've had enough. I had no visitors for weeks. I rip up me tree from ground, and hold under me arm as I start walking to castle, trying to step on other trees, because it be fun. I'll have company in new home in castle, I reason to myself. They all like me once they get to know me. But I stop walking. Because I've reached weird piece in ground. It be shiny, with cuts in it in patterns around edges, seems lower than rest of ground. I do only thing I can think of. I stomp down real hard on it. What else? And, what do you know, my foot goes through!

POV Giant Squid

Smash! I bang myself against the ice one more time. But it's useless. I won't get out for months, to visit the children. I'm stuck here. Alone, with my loneliness. With the roof of ice over my house, that can only be broken by warm sunlight. But then, as the feeling of hopelessness has almost sunk in, the strangest thing happens. The most wonderful, strange thing. A giant foot crashes into my home.

3rd Person

Grawp stares at this new creature, not quite getting it. It was as large as him, easily, maybe larger. It had lots more legs than him, and looked all slimy. He tries to make a noise, but being underwater, it was difficult. But it wasn't important to either of them. The squid and the giant were both content just making burbling sounds to each other, because they knew what they were trying to say. They understood each other that way. They had found a friend.

POV Student

I was on my way to the nurse from Herbology, having acquired a slight cold and sneezed on Professor Sprout's precious herbs, when I stopped dead. There was a giant, and the giant squid. The giant was sitting by the edge of the once frozen lake, the squid with a few tentacles emerging out of the water. The giant had such a look of joy on his face I almost laughed through my terror. And the squid had a fascinated look in it's eyes. As I sprinted towards the castle, I thought I think I'm staying in class next time, because obviously this is bonding time for the dangerous beasts. But, they looked so happy together, almost like they had finally found the person, er creature, they had been looking for their whole lives, that I decided not to mention the whole event to the staff.
