A funny accident

Hinata was practicing till midnight again and he was using a volleyball machine that was donated by an anonymous donor. Ever since Kageyama left for camp, He had trained harder, with the mindset that he must get stronger and train twice, no, three times harder than he normally would. His serves are extremely powerful but he hardly had control over them. He decided to do one final serve but he hit the ball so high up that it got stuck in between the beams on the ceiling..

"Seriously?" He groaned as climbed up to the second floor.

Meanwhile, Kageyama had came back to Japan in the evening and went to Karasuno even though it was late as he wanted to finally see the place again. He was walking to the gym and saw the door open with the lights on.

Hinata couldn't reach the ball, even with the stick they use to make the volleyballs drop from the beam if they were stuck. He cursed his short height when he had a dangerous idea. He stood on the bars on the second floor carefully, and as Kageyama walked in, he jumped high and caught the beam in midair. He managed to climb up and grab the volleyball. If he jumped now, he would hit his head on the ceiling, so with the ball in one hand, Hinata used the other to grab on to the beam as he dangled there. He aimed to swing himself towards the second floor and when he started his plan, he heard a familiar voice.

"Hinata?" Kageyama asked without thinking. Due to the shock of hearing his friend, Hinata accidentally let go and start falling. Kageyama eyes widened when he saw his partner falling from the ceiling, but with his improved reflexes, he ran there immediately and managed to catch Hinata. Hinata's eyes were closed and he was gripping the ball tightly. When he felt someone catching him, he opened his eyes a little to see a face staring at him. "Hinata? Hinata! Answer me!" Kageyama shook Hinata a little and Hinata eyes completely opened.

"Kage...yama?" He mumbled. "Am I dreaming or am I dead?"

"Baka! You could have died!" Kageyama scolded.

Yup. That's Kageyama alright. Thought Hinata. Then they noticed the position they were in. Kageyama was carrying Hinata bridal style as Hinata gripped a volleyball. Their faces became a bright shade of red and Kageyama dropped Hinata out of panic and as Hinata recovered from the shock, they made eye contact before looking away with their face turning redder. I watched the scene quietly at one spot and ran away before they saw me.

"And that's how they reunited again." I ended cheekily as the two started to rage. The coach and players laughed so hard that they started crying while the girls giggled (Takeda-sensei is not there yet).

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO-" Hinata started but was interrupted when he felt the extremely unpleasant aura coming from Kageyama.

"You...ToLd HeR?" His dangerous mood frightened everyone and Hinata tried to explain but could only mumble meekly. I gulped and ran away. Didn't see what happened, didn't want to know.

By the way, Hinata didn't tell me Kageyama. I watched it like a movie. He just found out, sorry Hinata! Sayonara minna.
