A/N I've had this idea for a story, and if I get enough good reviews, I'll continue with it. I'm so sorry that I haven't posted any more for the crossover story, I just haven't been getting much inspiration lately. Hope you like it anyway! Oh, another note, Rumplestiltskin has a son and a daughter in this, and milah left rumple after Bae was born. She was in the picture.

Killian Jones walked to his brother's captains quarters and sighed. They were supposed to set sail a few minutes ago, as his brother Liam had said. It was important that they went soon or the Kings' pay would be slim. "Brother?" He called out, hoping for an answer. His wish was granted when a gruff voice replied, the door opening. "That's captain to you." His captain stood grinning at his little brother teasingly. "Time to set sail. There's bumpy seas ahead." Liam brushed past him, heading to the deck.

Killian followed his brother, gazing out on the crew fooling around. He quickly snatched a flask from a crewmate. Several gasps were heard as the crew stood abruptly at attention. "Do you not know what happens-" He paused to sniff the contents before wincing. "When you drink rum? Every story I've heard ends with bad form. This crew does not need bad form."

His brother spoke up, a hint of laughter in his voice. "He's right. No more drinking on my ship or you're off it." Captain Liam approached the wheel, raising his voice to sound commanding. "To your stations!"

{A Few Years Later}

Rumplestiltskin was pacing his hut with his son Baelfire, waiting for his daughter. She should have been home by now. Time slid by, minutes feeling like years. Bae whined, seeming restless, as a child usually is. "Papa... Where's Cassy?" Shaking his head and trying to hide his nervousness, he drooped Bae's cloak over the young child's shoulders. "We'll find her, son. I promise."

Many people in the village marketplace had pointed him in the direction of the tavern, saying she went in there earlier. According to the rumors, she was with a group of pirates. He hoped not; pirates never went anywhere without causing turmoil. Thinking like a good parent, he left Bae outside, for he was too young. He hesitated when he neared the table, where he saw the smiling face he knew and loved. Cassandra stopped when she saw her father come find her, trying desperately to stall so she wouldn't have to go home. "Cass, time to leave." Cassandra sighed, slightly angry. "Then leave. It's what you're good at." A whimper made her feel guilty, as she spotted her little brother peeking out from behind her father Rumplestiltskin. "Coming." She said reluctantly, standing. Nobody spoke the whole way home.

Back at the poor spinners hut, Rumplestiltskin tried to form the right words. He could tell she was angry, that much was clear. "Cass..." He began.

Interrupted by his daughter, she threw her hands up in frustration. "Don't. You don't have to say the speech again. I'm grounded." She stomped to her room.

Bae whimpered again, too young to understand what was happening. "Papa... Is she going to leave?" Rumplestiltskin shook his head again, clearly worried and slightly angry. He had told her to stay away from pirates. He told her they were dangerous. What had she been thinking?! They could have killed her! She didn't know everything, yet she pretended to. One day, she would get more than what she bargained for.
