Swaying to this melody
Hey Ho! mitzigouenji here! I'm still new to this fanfiction stuff but I've put all my effort into this wonderful Shikamaru x Ino fanfiction, enjoy! C:
Out in the forest somewhere, there was humming and swaying that came from a girl who was wearing a royal purple kimono with butterflies and flowers imprinted on it that matched perfectly with her golden hair and bright blue eyes. Light shone down on her in the field of various flowers, she felt like she truly belonged there, out of the corner of her eye, she sees a boy with spiky black hair who was facing the other way. She squinted her eyes to get a better look and smiled. Sasuke… She ran towards the mysterious figure and hugged his back. "Sasuke… I.. love-" she stopped short and saw that she has mistaken him for someone else. Ino turned him around and came face to face with her comrade, Shikamaru Nara. She felt even warmer inside than before. Damn… she started to step back speechless but each step she took away from him, Shikamaru moves a step forward.
"Ino…" he looked at her out of pure love that Ino couldn't have missed in his eyes. He reached out his hand and pulled her close, and they were forehead-to-forehead. Ino would have pulled away instantly as she would have, normally, but didn't. Shikamaru leaned in, closer and closer and Ino closed her eyes and felt-
Light filled the room and Ino snapped back to reality, she got up from her bed and walked towards her mirror, she wiped of her forehead that was beaded with sweat. What the hell was that? She made her way towards the bathroom and took a quick shower and put on clean clothes, after that, she headed down stairs where her mother was sitting alone at the kitchen table reading the newspaper. "Good morning, Ino" said Mrs Yamanaka formally and Ino quickly gave a formal response to her greeting and grabbed 2 toasts from the table and headed off outside.
"Be careful, dear" her mum called out to her.
"I will, don't worry!" she called back and ran towards the training field.
"Hey Ino!" Chouji shouted and Shikmaru just smiled as a greeting. Ino instantly felt hot at the sight of Shikmaru and kept her head down. No, focus, FOCUS! You shouldn't be acting this way, I'll punish myself by eating a lot after this training… Ino thought to herself, and gave her two comrades a smile. "HEEEY!" Ino shouted as she finally reached them. "Gosh, Ino, can you turn the volume down by 1 million decibels? You're practically making my ears deaf." Shikamaru complained. Ino just smiled and ignored him but she felt hurt inside. Uhh… Why am I reacting this way?! She mentally slapped herself and looked away from him.
Shikamaru saw the hurt inside her eyes and quickly changed the subject. "All right, let's start training!" What was that all about? Shikamaru thought about it for a while and came to a conclusion, could it be that she likes… HAHA no way, I'm not up to her league, she only goes for guys like Sasuke.. and Sai… . Shikmaru looked at Ino one last time and started training.
Hi guys! Thank you for reading if you have, here's a small little hint on what's going to happen in the next chapter! Ino would faint from hunger and she wakes up at Shikmaru's place, OHH ! What could happen? Don't worry, there won't be any lemons. Maybe.. R&R!
