I got this idea and just had to write it. This is my first fanfic, Inspired by the scene between Aria and Hanna in the American and Canadian promo for 4x21-She's Come Undone. All feed back is welcome.

Can't Come Back From This

"Why are you going to Principle Hackett's house?" Hanna asked her friend Aria, trying to keep up with her as she crosses the street.

"Cause I'm telling him everything about me and Ezra." The brunette answered her friends question.

The response she got from her friend truly shocked her. "What do you mean you're telling him everything?"

"I'm not going be the only one that suffers from this Hanna!" Aria yelled at her friend a little harsher then she intended. Hanna saw the pain in her eyes as she finished and couldn't help be feel her pain. However she knew this was a bad idea, and had to make Aria see it too.

"Aria, if you do this Ezra will do more then suffer, he'll go to jail." Aria couldn't believe what she was hearing from Hanna, she couldn't believe that Hanna would take his side in this.

"Why are you defending him." Aria asked slightly hushed, not wanting to admit that this might be going to far.

"I'm not defending him, Aria, I'm just trying to help you realize the consequences your confession will have."

Hanna could see the tears starting to gather in her friends eyes, and she was hoping that she was getting through to her. "Aria, I know that he hurt and betrayed you, but I've seen you two together and the way he looks at you, and I do believe that he truly does love you."

The tears she was holding in began to fall, and Hanna could see that Aria really didn't want to do this to him.

"I'm not defending his actions," Hanna began "and I'm also not saying that you have to forgive him, and if you really want to do this, I'll go in there with you and we can tell him together." After hearing this, Aria gave Hanna a small smile, appreciating her friends support.

"But you have to realize that you would be destroying his life. A broken heart will heal eventually," Hanna continued, "but his reputation will be tainted forever, and I know that you would never want that for him.

After hearing those words, Aria began to break down, her vision completely blurred by the tears that she couldn't hold back any longer."

"I just don't want to hurt anymore." Aria managed to choke out between sobs, causing tears to fall from her friends eyes as well.

"I just don't know how to believe anything he says anymore." Aria confessed , as the sobs began to lessen. "I mean in theory I believe he loves me, but everything his every told me was a lie, and even if one day I could forgive him, I could never look at him the same again."

"That's understandable Aria," Hanna finally said after a short silence, "but telling Hackett is something you can never take back, you can't come back from this."

After Hanna finished, Aria took one more look at Hackett's house, then turned backed to Hanna and nodded. That was all Hanna needed to know that she got through to her friend. Hanna then reached for Aria's hand and squeezed it slightly as they began to walk in the opposite direction from their original destination. Aria squeezed back as they made their way back to her house. She let out a sigh, and was glad that Hanna confronted her about her intentions. She knew that even if she didn't know who he really was, even if she was supposed to hate him, deep down she loved him with all her heart, and hurting him like that was something she couldn't come back from.
