My name is Troy Bolton. I go to East High and I'm the school's basketball captain. I have many friends but my closest ones are Chad, Zeke, Jason, Sharpay, Gabriella, Kelsi, and Ryan. We hang out all the time. Well, every time we get a chance.
Anyway, my dad, he's the coach of my team, so that means I have to practice harder than everybody else. I love basketball so its not much of a problem. I plan on going to college on a basketball scholarship.
Now enough about basketball. Gabriella. She's so hot. She's like really nice, too. Wonderful singer. She helps people and is never mean. She's the kind of person we all should be. We could never be together, though. The only reason I haven't talked to her about that is because of cliques. She's really interested in science, or chemistry. And I'm a basketball player. We're like opposites.
Sharpay's kinda cute, too though. But she's a total bitch. You should just see the way she acts. And the sad part is she doesn't even look like she means to.
"Hey, Troy, when's practice over, again?" Gabriella was just walking up to his locker on her way to class.
"Uhh, 5:30. Why?" I said slightly raising and eyebrow.
"Oh just curious." Gabriella said, smiling.
At 5:30
"Hey superstar" Gabriella said, slowly walking up to me as I was about to make a shot.
"I had a feeling you'd show up" I said, smiling.
"Yeah, I just wanted to talk. We never get a chance to just talk, alone anymore." Gabriella said with a slight frown.
"Well I'm here. Let's talk." I said.
"Uhh…. So how's your junior year going?" Gabriella said, with a sorta curious face.
"Eh, okay. And how about you?" I said.
"Pretty good. So um want to.. go to my house?" Gabriella said.
"Sure." I said.
At Gabby's House
"So… Uh let's go up to my room." said Gabriella.
"So.. do you wanna watch tv?" Gabby said, looking very bored.
"Sure." I said, bored.
She turned it on and family guy came on. We both smiled.
I laughed. "OMG it's my favorite show!" I laughed again. Gabby giggled.
"So uhh let's go see a movie.." I suggested.
"Yeah. Which one?" Gabby asked curiously.
"Umm, how about… the Invisible. Have you heard of it? It just came out. You wanna see it?" I said.
"Yeah I think so. Yeah, sure." She said.
"Alright then." I said and we drove to the theater. We bought tickets and we went in and took our seats. We waited for it to start. It started and we kept watching.
About halfway into the movie, we started looking at each other. I looked away really fast, and so did she. We looked again. I slowly moved in to kiss her. I almost did but she moved away. She whispered really softly, "Troy, I don't want this to ruin everything between us. We've only known each other for a few months. I don't want this to be over like, tomorrow."
"Don't worry. It won't be." I whispered softly. Gabby only seemed to be slightly convinced. I leaned in to kiss her. This time, she let me. It was the best kiss of my life. I slowly backed away. It left me wanting more but I wasn't gonna rush anything. We finished the movie and we got back in the car. I dropped her off and walked her to her doorstep. "Thanks, Troy." She said. "No problem. Good nigh-" I tried to say but she had kissed me. The same way she had kissed me in the theater. I smiled and let her walk inside.
