Yuki smiled to himself, he was coming home from college at last and ached to see his love. Tohru. If he's missed anything while he'd been away, it had been her.
He got off the train and started to walk the familiar streets back to his home. I hope she's there when I walk in the door, because her face would be so priceless. At least I hope I see her before I see that Stupid Cat…
When he arrived at the door of Shigure's house he noted how quiet it was. Maybe this is how it is when the Stupid Cat and I aren't going at it. Huh, it's kinda peaceful…
Yuki opened the door without knocking and entered the familiar home. He didn't see Tohru or Kyou anywhere. He walked into the living room and mentally exploded. Ayame was there.
"Oh, hello there my most wonderful baby brother, it has been far too long! Now come, fly into my bosom with reckless abandon!"
The Rat twitched. No, no, no why did he have to be here? I might as well die right now.
Ayame waited about a millisecond before going off on a tangent, "Brother, why have you not thrown your beautifully frail figure into my wonderful and loving arms? Ah, I see, you don't want to embarrass yourself before Tori-san and Gure-san! But you see, my brother, they would not judge you, for on many a sad or joyous occasion they have done the same! So come, embrace me to your heart's content! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The room went awkwardly silent when he finished. Yuki glared, "My heart is content with not being in close proximity to you. Where's Tohru?"
Shigure looked up and smiled blithely, "Oh she's off with Kyou-kun."
"Why?"
"Oh well you see," The Dog continued smoothly "Kyou-kun couldn't stand the thought that Tohru-kun had chosen you over him so he stole her and keeps her locked away. Did we forget to tell you that?"
Yuki had a dangerous aura come over him, like a dark storm cloud, "Forget?"
Shigure recoiled, "Uh Yuki-kun…"
"Where's the Stupid Cat?"
Hatori looked up from his mug, "He has an apartment in the down town area."
The Rat looked at the three furiously, "And nobody did anything to stop him?"
The Dragon looked at him, "What could be done?"
"Well then," Yuki hissed as he turned towards the door "I guess I'll have to get him myself."
