I spent hours on this, yet it's not super long. Oh well. I love the deep emotional plot of Dreamtalia, and I came up with a headcanon. What if the Faucherve is actually in love with Italy? Not love as in stuff like Gerita, but a different, much darker kind of love. I wrote this poem about it, and I'm actually pretty happy with what I wrote. Review, good or bad, anyone?
Partially inspired by the epic song Bad Apple
Disclaimer: I don't own Hetalia.
Dream of sweet things, Italia
Of pain gone with the light
As you sink into this sea of purity
Your blackened heart will fade to white.
One day he will disappear once more
And alone again you'll be
Trapped in endless battle with yourself
But I will set you free.
Unbind your wings, Italia
After all this time
You've been on the ground so long
You have forgotten how to fly.
I won't leave you as they once did
I won't break your heart
You've had enough of life, I know
It's okay to fall apart.
And when you close your eyes, Italia
I will be there by your side
I will take you in my arms
And watch you as you die.
