"You guys! GUYS!" Hazel yelled, running up to Frank, Percy, and Annabeth.
Frank was the first to respond, a hint of worry in his voice. "What's wrong? Are you alright?" She nodded. "I'm fine, and you'll never guess who else is!"
She turned and ran off into the forest, not waiting to see if they would follow, but she didn't need to, all three followed her without question.
She stopped just outside of Bunker 9, it had closed shortly after the Giant war and no one could open it. The Hephaestus kids tried for days to get it open, but eventually gave up as more pressing problems arose.
But now, it stood very much open, and very dark. Percy drew Riptide, which glowed softly in the dark main room, the ventured through the large main room, where the Argo II had been built. "You guys see anything?" The others shook their heads, or at least, he sensed they did.
After a few more minutes, Frank spoke up. "Do you think we should go get the Hephaestus kids?" Just as he finished his question, a spotlight turned on, right in the center of the room, lighting up a buffet. They all walked up to it in awe...
Sitting on a large ornate silver platter, right in the middle of it all, was a tray of Tofu Tacos. They all knew what it meant, but none put the thought into words. Percy walked up to the buffet table and proceeded to dig in while the rest simply stared at the Tofu Taco's, as if they were some anomaly that needed to be taken care of, but no one was willing to take care of.
Percy looked up from his Taco, with a grin on his face. "Guys, these are his." As soon as he finished this, as if on cue, the giant electric billboard lit up. It panned from left to right, reading off. "All deh ladies luv Leo!" They all had to laugh, by this point it was a joke between them and Leo.
But further more, if they weren't laughing, they would be crying. Their friend, that they thought had given up his life to protect them, in the most selfless sacrifice they had ever seen, and most of them had seen their fair share, was still alive.
While the rest were laughing at Leo's antics, Annabeth found the light switch and turned the rest of the lights on.
After a few moments, they heard someone clear their throat, they all turned.
There was Leo, standing there, behind a large piece of sheet metal, shirtless, and they all had to guess, pants-less. "Ummm, hi guys?" He cleared his throat again, and Percy began walking forward. "Woah woah woah Water Boy, I wouldn't do that just yet." He looked down with an eye brow raised. Calypso stood up, behind the same sheet of metal, her arms crossed over her chest. Percy made a shape with his mouth like 'o' and turned around, walking out of Bunker 9 and grabbing Annabeth's hand on the way out, bringing her with. Frank and Hazel quickly following suite.
Calypso smacked Leo's arm. "I thought you said there was no way they could find this place till tomorrow!" He rubbed the back of his neck, she looked down and rolled her eye's, picking up her clothes and beginning to put them on. "Umm, I guess I kind of forgot about Hazels whole 'Daughter of the Underworld' thing?"
She stopped and looked at him for a second, disbelievingly. But Leo's reaction was much more random. He lunged for her, bringing her closer to him and kissing her, she instantly melted, making a sound like 'Ugh' into the kiss and returning it. "Let's get out of here Sunshine, we got places to go." She grinned. "Like where?"
"Somewhere."
"You don't know where do you?"
"Now you're starting to catch on Babe."
