Remembering Lost Friends.
A/N: What happens when someone on the team remembers lost friends and ropes the rest of the team into remembering? This is a one shot.

Chapter 1.
"Hey guys listen I have this crazy idea about having a gathering at Ducky's at about 8pm tonight", says Abby who had been standing in the bullpen waiting on an answer from her friend's and work mates. Tony was about to ask what it was in aid of but Ziva looked at him with a death glare and answered Abby for all of them and said "Of course Abby they will be there I will personally drive them there myself".
Abby looked at Ziva and smiled for the first time that day and went to her desk and gave her a soft hug as thanks and then left to go back down to her lab. Gibbs had been watching from the top of the stairs and was glad that Ziva had realised that Abby remembered her lost friends but today was difficult for Ziva also because it was her sister's anniversary.
It had been a slow day at the Navy Yard and the team was catching up on some much needed paperwork. So Gibbs decided to send everyone home early so they were ready to be picked up by Ziva at 19.30hrs. Ducky had no problem with everyone coming to the house but he found it strange that Abby did not tell him why the others were coming to the house or why she needed to keep it a secret. Gibbs was the first to arrive, then Ziva dropped off Tony and went to get Magee and while she done that Abby arrived and went inside and saw Gibbs, Tony, Ducky and then Magee arrived in the door. Abby looked around Magee wondering why Ziva wasn't with him and Tim said, "there is one more person that Ziva had to pick up she will be back".
Abby had trusted Ziva to an extant and was happy that she sometimes was able to give her comfort when she needed it. When Ziva arrived she was not alone and when they walked in the door held open by Abby herself and once inside Abby was ready to tell them why they were there. Once the women joined the rest of the team it was Abby who spoke "Everyone the reason we are here in Ducky's house is to remember our lost friends Kate, Paula and Jenny. I know that not everyone knows Kate and Paula or Jenny but that is why we are here to tell stories about our friends and remember the good times we had with them".
Gibbs gave Abby the biggest hug and kiss on the cheek for thinking about this and to do it in a very fitting way and so the stories began with Kate's sister Rachel and they continued throughout the night. By the time morning came round everyone was glad that Abby did what she did and Ziva pick something up off the floor and gave it to Abby and said "Abby this was my sister's but now you are my sister and I want you to have it", it was a gold necklace with the star of David on it.
