Just a little fic for 2-D's birthday :3

2-D woke up to a surprisingly not bad day, the sun wasn't exactly shinning, but it wasn't bucketing it down with rain either.
2-D walked quite merrily down the hallway of the Gorillaz new home, after being evicted from their previous one, they had travelled from house to house, eventually finding a small, cramped one that costed hardly anything, though it was no bargain
This would be 2-D's first birthday where the band was settled down and were pretty much on good terms with each other, 2-D had been looking forward to it.
He went into the kitchen and hunted around for some breakfast, not long after, a peeved looking murdoc came into the kitchen.
Even though 2-D didn't look up to murdoc like he used to, he was quite happy for the bassist to have finally gotten up.
"'ey muds! Do yeh know wut day it 'is todeh?" 2-D greeted cheerfully.
"Leave me the frick alone day'?" Murdoc replied, with a scowl that would scare a bear back into a cave.
"It's meh birfd'ay!"
"Oh yeah, that too face ache"
2-D smile disappeared for second.
"russel might r'member!"
2-D went outside, hoping the still-giant russel would remember
Murdoc sighed with relief "finally some peace".
"mornin' russel!" 2-D said
Russel was sitting on the roof of the house; it was surprising the house had lasted this long with his weight.
"mornin' D"
"d'ya know wut day it is'?"
"May twenty third?"
2-D sighed. So he didn't remember either.
"nev'rmind"
2-D sat in his room, watching one of his many zombie movies, when a small knock came at his door
"It's open'" he shouted, not taking his eyes off the screen.
"hullo Toochi"
2-D took his eyes off the screen to give the Japanese guitarist a grin, she hadn't called him toochi for years...
"ello' luv"
A small blush lit up the guitarist's cheeks, she walked more into the room, and sat down taking residence next to 2-D.
"I got you this for your birthday"
She handed him a dvd, the name read cockney vs. Zombies
"I was not entirely sure on what zombie movie to get you, but this sounded funny so I thought we could watch it together"
If possible, 2-D's smile got wider
"yew r'membered" 2-D gave her a small hug
"How could I forget?" Noodle replied
"fanks, It's brill'ant, I can always count on you noodle luv".
