Chapter 1: Announcements
"Right, campers!" Chiron called out over the chatters, "I have a few notices to give you. First off, I would like to congratulate Percy, Piper, Nico and Lola for completing their quest this morning! I hope that baby manticore didn't harm any of you?" He added seriously,
"Nah, we got a few scratches and Lola has a broken arm but nothing a little ambrosia can't fix." Percy announced proudly.
"Second, the Valentine's Day chariot tournament begins tomorrow with the Artemis cabin - the Hunters are arriving tonight – versus the Apollo cabin. The prizes are being donated by each of the Gods. Third, next week it's Date Night!" This last sentence brought an eruption of cheers from the Aphrodite cabin making Chiron rear backwards,
"Whoa! Calm down, Drew!" Drew was still screaming at the top of her voice getting worried glances from the Hermes cabin and the Ares cabin. "Shhh, now." Chiron sighed, "Date Night is being represented by Aphrodite and Demeter and will contain activities from planting flowers, shooting Cupid Co. arrows and making chocolates and cards to send to your special someone. Fourth, the Valentine's dance is coming up on February 14th and make sure to ask quickly, Aphrodite is making sure to get everyone a date and if you don't have one by the 13th she will 'hook you up' with a compatible partner. Now, off to bed!"
