Honesty? He died years ago.
What
if everyone were honest,
and nobody lied?
What if everyone were
immortal,
and nobody died?
Would the world be a better
place
if nobody cried?
Or would everyone vent,
and commit
suicide?
How many times, have you had to smile,
while deep
down inside, you feel in exile?
And how about every once in a
while,
you convince yourself your not in denial?
What do
you say when people ask how it's going?
you say, "oh it's
great" without ever showing.
A hint of the real reason,
you
might not be glowing.
What if you actually confessed,
to
being clinically depressed?
Would any one friend stay and assess,
what usually goes around suppressed?
Don't ever
apologize,
for your personal thoughts.
If anyone opposes,
let
them be distraught.
How about the next time,
you're asked
for the truth,
you take just a second,
and risk being uncouth?
