a/n: I'm very thankful for the encouragement. Everyone's, but...I guess yours, especially.
"You...d-don't have to do this."
"..."
A soft white glow came from the hands of Amy Rose. She held them against the thick, blubbery arm with her tattered gloves. Her body trembled as she drew on her own energies, depleting with each moment.
"Your body can't take much...more..."
She ignored his warnings, spitting out blood from her mouth. A trickle of crimson had dried up near the corner of her lips.
The arm was healing steadily.
"What would he think...if he saw you doing this..."
"..."
"If he...saw us together like this," the man wheezed. He coughed and chuckled derisively. She said nothing, continuing to heal him. There were holes and tears in her beloved dress. Scratches and trails of blood on her skin.
Green eyes, now solid colours. Glowing dimly in the faint light coming from her hands.
The arm was nearly done.
Robotnik...Eggman...whoever she knew him as. He was battle torn as well.
"Sonic certainly wouldn't approve."
She felt a heat run through her body. Uncomfortable. Burning.
"How could he? Look what you've stooped to. Look at what you've become, little girl. You've betrayed him by doing this."
Amy said nothing, continuing her work.
"You don't have an answer? How typical. How...droll."
"It's done." Her voice was cold and flat.
Eggman's limbs were now in perfect, working order. He stood in the darkness of the cave, seeing pinpricks of light hitting the walls behind him. Not nearly enough to see by.
They were trapped. Together.
The doctor looked at the little hedgehog girl nervously. He towered over her, with his long limbs and big hands. But she was strong. Impossibly strong.
Her eyes were still blank. She took a step forward, her feet bare and toes glittering with fancy paint.
They could have been out by now. They both knew it.
Eggman opened his mouth.
"It's enough. Isn't it enough? It has to be," he said. "They'll find us eventually. And then you'll have to explain what you've done. You'll have to explain, and you'll pay. You'll pay dearly!"
She breathed out harshly, her mouth open. The cold air made her a rose coloured dragon. Teeth sharp and bared. Breaths condensing into smoke and billowing from her mouth, streaming upwards in front of her.
The winter chilled her bones. She shook.
Her heart was already ice.
"I asked you...to stop. I begged you. Just as you beg me now."
She smiled a crooked, twisted smile.
"Pshh...hehehehehehahahahahaha..."
"No..."
"Once more, dear Doctor. Once more. I will make you whole again."
Before he could react, she charged and planted her fist into his arm, driving it into the wall.
A loud crack and a wet, meaty splash sounded out, blood splashing everywhere and joining the other markings like it. Another layer of crimson was added to the cave floor.
"Wuooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Eggman fell to his knees, clutching the bloody strands of his arm. Flattened like a pancake, blood oozing to the ground with pieces of gore.
The pinpricks of light illuminated the girl's gloves. Stained a deep crimson.
She opened a hand and in a flash, her blood-spattered hammer appeared in it.
The fat man vomited, shock rippling through him.
"P-please...they'll...f-find us...Amy..."
She pushed him over, planting a foot on his leg. Raised her hammer high with one hand.
"Why?! He didn't even dieeeeeeeeeeee!"
"You. Made. Me. Think. It."
"N-no...no!"
"A thousand-fold...a thousand-fold. Hehehehehehahahahahahaha~!"
"STOP!"
"His pain returned...a thousand-fold~!"
The cave trembled with the impact.
And shook with the scream that followed.
"Amy's trapped somewhere with Eggman...that's gotta be the absolute worst. We gotta find her, Tails."
"Yeah. You sure you're okay?"
"Me? Psh, I'm no wimp."
"If you're sure."
"I am. I mean...just a broken finger, right?"
"How much harm could that do anyone?"
