A/N: this is so short I doubt anyone will bother reading it, but here you go. I was bored so decided to try curing my writer's block by writing more, look how well that turn out.
The 2 figures stood side by side on the astronomy tower their bodies shrouded in darkness, silhouettes slowly sinking to their knees in the moonlight that shone around them reflecting off the great lake like a mirror polished to perfection, perfection like what they saw in each others faces as they stared deeper into eyes growing glassy, green meeting grey, emerald meeting stone.
This was love, this was life, and this was belonging. When the world was full of pain and cruelty they had their solace- the one they had in each other.
But people are mean - people are harsh. What was wrong with forgiving, loving and caring? Why cant they see that hate and fear was how this started, the vicious circle of resentment was what killed their friends and family not just one man- one boy, trying in vain to save his family despite what he was taught to believe?
Why can't people forgive?
Why can't people forget?
Their fingers entwined as they leaned forward lips brushing light as feathers touch before falling into an unwaking slumber.
I may write this as a story and do a 'how do it get to this' and/or 'reaction' fic so drop a review if you want, it would be much appreciated (if I continue this I will have a minimum of 1000 words per chapter.)
