Hello…I am a person. Writing a story. Because I can. Anywho, this story is slightly on the off the hook side. And the non-person people who are Pong paddles, balls, and scores are personified a lot.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pong, but I do own Virginia.

Pong: Twisted Legacy Paddles

Ball took a look around his surroundings. It was black. And white. As Ball bounced between Paddle 1 and Paddle 2, he noticed his home was very drab.

"How about a table?" he said.

Paddle 1 looked at Paddle 2, and then Score 1 looked at Score 2.

"A table?" Score 2 asked.

"Yeah," Ball replied. "A table would look nice."

"Okay…and how exactly will we get it?"

"We'll go to furniture store!"

"The furniture store?"

"The furniture store!"

"We're going to get furniture from the furniture store?"

"WILL YOU BOTH SHUT UP!!!" Paddle 1 screamed.

Ball sighed. "Okay."

Ball bounced from Paddle 1 to Paddle 2 and back to Paddle 1.

"Doesn't this seem boring? Going back and forth. All the time?"

Paddle 1 sighed. "Score 1, you explain."

Score 1 cleared his throat.

"Basically, we've become accustomed to being doing the bouncing around and scoring when someone misses. If we change that, we will become very disoriented and confused. Plus, don't you like talking to us?"

Ball shrugged.

"Meh. I could be watching Death Note."

Paddle 2 stared.

"We don't have furniture. Let alone a TV. Let alone cable."

Ball gave a your-so-cute-with-your-naïve-thinking look.

"I saw it once. I think Light is cool. L sucks."

"Who's L?" asked Score 1.

"Some crappy dude." said Ball.

Then, Score 2 cracked.

"L IS AWESOME YOU FREAKIN' MORON!"

Everyone stared.

Score 2 then realized what he said, "Umm…err…yeah."

Ball was the first to react.

"You watch Death Note?"

Score 2 could not deny what he said.

"Yes."

"I like how it ends."

"Really? How does it end?"

"Well, it's on the episode."

"Which one?"

"Which one? There's only one."

"No, there's like 39 or something. I'm at 22."

The rest stood dumbfounded.

Score 1 broke in.

"How do you watch it?"

"That is a secret. A secretive secret."

"Fine."

Just then, two men in black entered the arcade. They walked down the hall to the Pong machine and checked if anyone was around. Then they began to speak.

"So, when do we place the bomb?"

"About 2:15 next week."

"What day?"

"Tuesday."

"Ah, where do we place it?"

The first man thought about this, then looked over at the Pong machine.

"On the Pong game," he said, tapping it with his fist.

The Pong crew sat and listened. When they left, Paddle 1 broke in.

"THERE GOING TO BLOW US UP!?!?"

Ball decided to state what would happen.

"They'll kill all the children!"

Score 1 replied, "Screw the children, WHAT ABOUT US?!"

Paddle 2 tried to solve the problem.

"What if we warned someone?"

The other game parts stared at Paddle 2 and then Score 2 said, "We're a game that is about bouncing a ball between paddles. How will we do that?"

Paddle 2 thought hard.

"Maybe signaling?"

"Let me say that again, HOW WILL WE DO THAT?"

"Let me think," said Paddle 2.

Just then, the children burst in and ran all around the arcade to play the video games that were so fun.

"Oh damn, what time is it?" asked Score 1.

"2:10," said Paddle 1 grimly.

Paddle 2 burst out.

"I got an idea!"

The others sat amazed.

"WHAT?" they all said.

"Well…" Paddle 2 began.

The others listened carefully…

Sorry it was so freakin short. I had little time to write this. Anywho, more chapters coming soon. Not kidding. Please review. I need some food. Fish. Seven.ڱц╜.
