The Doctor and Amy were on their casual adventures, riding the TARDIS.

- So! Where do you want to go now? 16th century England? The colonization of New Earth?

- I dunno! Anywhere you want? Wait a bit... New Earth?

The TARDIS starts shaking and turns red. The Doctor and Amy try to keep on their feet, but they eventually fall on the ground. Then it stops.

- Doctor... what is it? What happened?

- I don't know... it seems that we didn't take a normal course... as if this wasn't supposed to happen. Wait here.

The Doctor runs towards the TARDIS' doors to find himself... in London.

- But something's not right...

Amy peaks behind the Doctor.

- What's not right? This is London! I always wanted to go to London!

- Shhh shh Amy. This is not the London I wanted to show you. This is... London from a parallel universe.

Suddenly a familiar figure passes by, with a toddler on his chest. The Doctor's perplexed. The man with the toddler smiles.

- There you are. Hello!

- How come I came here? This universe was supposed to be sealed off!

Amy stares, trying to catch up with all the conversation.

- I see you're not alone and you've moved on.

- I had to. I knew she'd be happy with you.

- Well... we managed to get a... wibbly wobbly, timey wimey gadget that would allow to pull my... your TARDIS into our universe. I didn't know how I'd... you'd be after all that happened, so I wanted to make sure, for the last time, that you could be assured that she was happy. Do you want to see her?

The Doctor asked Amy to stay in the TARDIS just for a bit and followed the man in the pinstriped suit. Soon they arrived a small house, where they could see a blonde woman happily finishing some essays on her computer. The Doctor felt nostalgic, and couldn't stop staring at her. She didn't look any older, although her hair was longer. The toddler started to struggle in the man's lap.

- Can I hold the baby?

- Sure.

The Doctor looks at her. She had her mum's eyes, but her dad's hair colour. He also wondered if one day she'd be as smart as her dad. At the same time, the woman inside the house was giggling while talking with the phone on her ear.

- You were able to give her something that I could never have had. Thank you.

After a while, the Doctor bid goodbye to the toddler and the man. He returned to the TARDIS to a very grumpy Amy.

- Oi! You left me here all alone! Do you really expected me to keep still inside the TARDIS? And who was that man? You could at least have presented him to me, he was quite a hunk!

The Doctor looked at Amy and laughed at her comment. Then his laugh became a nostalgic and sad smile. He stared into the distance and said "Important friends, from some time ago. They had to move on with their lives... just like I did."
