** Part 1 **
It was a quiet day, but a very special day. All of the police from the different districts in Japan were being thrown a party by the very grateful head of the Suzuki Corporation, whose building had recently been rigged with bombs. Somehow, with bomb squads from just about every district, they'd manage to disarm every one. In return, it was party time.
Yamamura was headed up the stairs when he crashed into a rather large officer in a brown hat and brown suit. Inspector Megure looked down and tried to grab him, but to no avail, as Yamamura rolled down the stairs. He suddenly heard a scream, and rushed down himself. Yamamura was staring in terror at a dead body wearing a tengu mask in front of him, with a bloody knife protruding from its chest. Moments later, a very familiar boy with glasses ran up, quickly checking the pulse.
"Conan-kun? You again?" chorused both Yamamura and Megure.
Edogawa Conan's glasses flashed.
"No use … dead."
The police almost instantly started closing off the area. Hattori Heiji appeared too.
"Oi, what are you doing here?" asked Heiji.
"Heiji-niichan, occhan was invited to the police party, and I heard a scream," replied Conan.
A few investigations, tranquilizer darts, and voice-changing bowties later, everything about the murder case had been cleared up, and the culprit was hauled to the nearest station via patrol car. Conan left, not knowing what exactly was in store for him.
The inspectors from various districts were talking with each other.
"Is it me, or does that kid show up everywhere there's a case," murmured Yamamura.
"You think so too?" said Megure. "I used to think it was Mouri-san that was cursed, but I've been thinking it's Conan-kun lately ..."
Inspector Yokomizo (jr.) thought a bit.
"Come to think of it, I do see him around too .." he murmured.
"Every time I see that guy, there is usually a case," said Heiji.
Everyone glanced at him for a moment, wondering how he'd gotten there, before bringing the topic back to Edogawa Conan.
"I think he needs to be exorcised, he's probably cursed," mumbled Yamamura.
"Exorcised … that's it! He needs to be exorcised!" exclaimed Megure.
Hattori Heiji laughed to himself. Kudo was in for it ...
**Part 2**
"What, an exorcism?" asked a mumbly old priest.
The inspectors explained to him Conan's trademark of having murders follow him around. The priest nodded eventually, and went off to prepare.
"Eh? An exorcism?" asked Mouri Ran over the phone.
"Haii. That boy's cursed," replied Megure. "Please bring him to that temple."
"Tou-san? Can we please go to this temple tomorrow?" asked Ran sweetly.
"What, do you want to pray or something," murmured Mouri Kogorou.
"Please?"
"Taku … whatever ..." grumbled the detective, listening once again to horse racing.
The next day, they all got into the new rental car. Ran was humming slightly on the way, and Conan was slightly curious about why they were going to a temple. When they arrived, the whole flock of police inspectors were there.
"Hey, Kudo, you'll never guess what they have planned for you," whispered Heiji.
"Eh? Whatever, it's probably something pointless occhan thought of," sighed Conan.
"Well, let's get going, Conan-kun!" said Ran innocently as she dragged him into the temple.
It was dark, there were candles, and there was a priest. Ran stuck him in the middle of the room, and rushed out, closing the door.
"Wait … don't tell me ..." said Conan, looking around.
He noticed the darkness and the candles, then the priest. He looked around and found that he was in the center of some sort of circle. Added to that was various charms stuck around the room ….
"I'M BEING EXORCISED?"
-The End-
