In light of the last, very depressing, horribly angering Glee episode, I decided to write this; because there is no way I can wait until April 10th for the next one! So, I have to have something to get my Glee fix! :O Spoilers if you haven't seen the last episode.
*I seriously thought Rory was going to be allergic to PB! Haha*
Rachel paced the room in her long white dress, twiddling her fingers. Only two minutes until Finn and her spot was given away. But Quinn had promised. She checked her phone, still no reply. She was starting to worry. She dialed Quinn's number, but it went straight to voicemail. Finn entered again. "Rachel…"
Rachel looked up at her husband-to-be. "I'm worried about Quinn. She hasn't texted back, she hasn't answered my calls and she should've been here forever ago!"
"Well, she probably just got caught up in traffic. Do you want to go on in?" Finn asked.
Just then, Puck rushed in, looking hot yet ridiculous in a tux and bow tie. "Guys, Quinn's been in a car crash," he said, holding his phone with Shelby on the line.
Rachel's eyes widened. "Oh, no! I knew it, I just knew it!" She said. "Is she okay?"
Puck licked his lips nervously. "She's alive, but…"
Rachel and her bridesmaids all jumped up, fear crushing their chests.
"I'm sorry, Finn, but not today," Rachel said, rushing out the door still in her wedding dress.
One of Rachel's dads looked up in alarm. "Having cold feet?"
Rachel shook her head. "We've got to go, now. Quinn was in a car crash."
Rachel hobbled into the hospital room, trying not to cry as she saw Quinn, hooked up to many wires and IVs and other medical machines. This is all my fault. She thought. If I hadn't texted her, that truck would've never hit her, because she wouldn't have been texting me back.
Rachel pulled forward her long dress, collapsing in a hospital chair and looking at Quinn's battered body. "Quinn," She said. "I'm so sorry."
Quinn breathed deeply, her eyelids fluttering slightly. Rachel gasped, standing. "Quinn? Quinn! Are you okay?"
Quinn struggled to move. "What happened?"
"Quinn, this is entirely my fault."
"What?"
"Quinn, you were hit by a semi, you're in the hospital," Rachel sobbed.
The girl looked around. Even in her condition, she managed a slight smile. "So, are you and Finn hitched?"
"No, Quinn. I was waiting for you, but we heard you were in a crash and…" Rachel was cut off by her own sobs.
"I'm sorry," Quinn said.
"You're sorry?" Rachel said. "Quinn, this is my fault. I shouldn't have been texting you when you were driving, and anyway, weddings can be rescheduled. Your life can't."
Rachel was interrupted by nurses rushing in, they shooed her out of the room and went to work on checking out Quinn.
Karofsky wandered the halls of his new school, dressed in the snug jacket and tie. He had talked to Kurt, about his days here, and decided he knew he should at least try. He smiled, knowing that one out of every two guys here was like him. He passed a room full of guys, singing pop songs and adding in harmonies. Their tenor and bass voices blended into a practiced harmony.
Karofsky stopped to listen to the Warbler's song. He had considered trying to join, but had decided against it, for he probably didn't have the best voice. Even when he didn't, looking around here at the Dalton Academy, he knew he belonged here.
So, just some little snippets. What do you think? Worth continuing? Review! ~S~
