She felt the first drop. Shit! she thought, why the hell am I out here? Fin sighed. She knew why. She couldn't think with everyone around. It just got overwhelming sometimes.
A strand of her hair fell out of the bobby pins that held it, along with the braided sections, out of her way. Fin bent down to pick up a rock that she skipped into the pond. She hardly remembered her childhood, just her mom crying with relief, Rory making her laugh, Vick teasing her, the strange face of the broken girl that had been the mockingjay, and Gale calling her the special nickname that he had for her, that everyone but her mom had used. But now that was all gone. Nine years after the rebellion, and things were still being rebuilt.

"Josephine. Jo. Sephy. Fin. You okay?"

Fin smiled softly. She knew that the one person she could count on to interrupt her thoughts was Peter Curren.

"And what brings you here?" Fin raised one skeptical eyebrow, "Yah know, while you're here you could pick some of the ripe peaches." She managed to keep a straight face until she turned and saw his look of disbelief. She burst out laughing and it didn't take long before he did, too. The rain started to come down harder, even though the temperature hadn't dropped.

"Wanna go in now?" he asked, "Before we get completely soaked?" Fin didn't respond, just ran for the stables as fast as she could.
