It's Christmas Eve at Casper and Kat's place, and other than the Ghostly Trio, they're all in a merry mood, along with the visiting Spooky and Poil. However, Kat is still constantly bothered by Amber Whitmire and her 'Jennifers'. Then, 3 familiar ghosts who'd visited the mansion on Christmas before had returned. It was the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, who'd taken a Christmas off and appointed the Ghostly Trio as their substitutes. Once more, they were taking a Christmas off and playing their mission for the Ghostly Trio to take on for them.
This gave Casper an idea, he told it to Poil and Spooky.
Casper: Look, I don't like it when Amber and her gang ruin things for Kat. And, if the Ghostly Trio could pull off a 'Christmas Carol' of their own, so can we.
Poil: Wait a minute, Casper. Are you suggesting that we play the ghosts of Christmas and spook this 'Amber' girl? Like they did with Scrooge and your uncles did with Hazard?
Casper: Exactly.
Spooky: Wow Casper, never thought you had it in you to actually try to scare someone.
Casper: This is a special case, it's to make someone become a better person.
Spooky and Poil agreed and went to Amber's house. As she was just getting ready for bed and lying down, Poil rises up through Amber's bed (and body), chilling her before spooking.
Poil: Amber, I'm the Ghost of Christmas Past. I came to show your what you once were, in hopes you will become better.
Grabbing Amber's hand, Poil takes Amber back to when she was a toddler. Amber saw her younger self in a daycare center, where she met her 'Jennifers' and Kat. She also saw how her parents spoiled her at home, especially at Christmas time.
Later on, Spooky comes to Amber dressed in a Santa suit, being the Ghost of Christmas Present.
Spooky (laughing): I don't think you've seen the likes of me before.
Amber: Never.
Spooky then takes Amber on a tour of the town at Christmas time before bringing her to Amber and Casper's house. They both peek in (with seeing the other ghosts), and Amber sees and overhears how much she really hurt Kat. She starts feeling guilt and regret.
Then, Spooky disappears, leaving Amber alone. Then, Casper arrives as the Ghost of Christmas Future. Casper shows Amber Kat when she's grown up and is dealing with an unfair female employer (who's face is currently covered over by a shadow). As the future yeard perform their dance of advancement, Amber starts feeling sorry for Kat and the future she'd faced. Eventually, they come to when her employer dies and has no mourners.
Amber: Wait, all of this hasn't happened yet, that means we can change them.
Amber looks at the woman's grave in order to see her own name: Amber Whitmire. After which, she sees her own ghost rise up before her and she shrieks in horror.
Amber: I don't want to end up like this, forgotten and unremembered. I'm not that girl anymore. Please, I will change. I'll think of Christmas as I should: a charity season, and be nice to all, including Kat. I won't shut away your lessons, or those from your fellow spirits.
Amber wakes up back in her bedroom, where she finds it's Christmas and takes the chance to make amends. She meets her Jennifers and tells them her new plans; she makes big hand-outs to charity and (along with the Jennifers) joins Kat and her dad for Christmas dinner. Casper, Spooky, and Poil (hiding nearby) wink to each other, they did it.
