Hey! Well, I do not go on the Yu-Gi-Oh! but on Greek mythology! And with the agreement of my classmate, here is a poem written in the style of Carol Ann Duffy, the queen of the dramatic monologue! This poem was written as part of an end of chapter évalutaion being Foreign literature in foreign languages, where there is the English language. We studied Medusa, Carol Ann Dufffy. Here, the poem is about the myth of Persephone. As the title suggests, our choice was brought about when Demeter lost his daughter and begins the winter. Now I leave you to your reading! ;)
I DON'T POSSESSES THE MYTH OF PERSEPHONE, sorry...
PS: ~~~~Tears~~~~ it means that there is a space ... Because it does not just put a space ...
No, no ! It's not possible ! Where is she ?
Her friends... They know nothing at all !
My daughter... Where is she, Ouranos ?
Why does everything become white, Gaia ?
~~~~Tears~~~~
My tears fall on you, Gaia... She is gone, isn't she ?
I can't believe... Who has done it ?
Who has taken my daughter ? Who ?
You know, Helios ! I know that you you know ! Tell me who !
~~~~Tears~~~~
Persephones's kidnapper, I am cursing you !
Because, you have my precious daughter !
Helios, tell me who has done this !
I can't anymore... I cry...
~~~~Tears~~~~
Zeus, help me ! Find our daughter, please...
10/10 is my rating for this poem! Yes, it is short, there are not many words ... But it was the writing instruction: 13 verses! For a fan of the Greco-Roman mythology, nothing is impossible, and I plan to make you more such poems if you agree ;) So, that's it! It was Demeter's tears
Reviews, please :3
