A/N: I needed something light, fluffy, and sweet to write. Please enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own Sherlock Holmes or Molly Hooper. The song is "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" originally recorded by Elvis Presley.
"Sherlock," Molly Hooper called into the dimly lit flat at 221B Baker Street, "I'm home." She slipped off her shoes onto the rug by the door and shook the wet snow out of her long ponytail.
A fire was roaring in the hearth but all the other lights were off. Sherlock was nowhere to be seen, which was unusual as he usually greeted Molly with an inundation of thoughts and questions and deductions.
"Sherlock?" she tried again.
Music began to play softly from the kitchen,
Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you
Molly crept quietly to the kitchen. She peeped around the corner, but instead of finding Sherlock she saw a candle-lit table adorned with what appeared to be a home cooked meal. What is he up too?
A hand gripped Molly's arm and pulled her around. Sherlock wrapped his other arm around her waist and pulled her close to him. They began to dance slowly, holding each other close while Sherlock crooned softly in her ear.
"Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you."
Molly's heart skipped a beat. She felt like her body was melting into Sherlock. His hand dug into her hips, drawing her closer, as if he couldn't be close enough to her. Sherlock locked his eyes with Molly's, smiling at her gentle beauty. He slanted his lips over hers, kissing her sweetly and passionately.
He serenaded her once more while holding her, making her feel loved and dear to his heart.
"Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you."
