Author's Note: Here is the rewritten version as promised. It is basically the same though with a lot of the awkwardness, typo's, and more corrected. Everything is essentially the same just...better flowing overall. The most change will be in chapter 2...and perhaps brand new chapter to expand and celebrate this revision. Enjoy.

Chapter One:
Lelouch Needs To Watch What He Says

Lelouch smiled lightly and walked into his home, "I'm back."

"Hello Lelouch. Welcome home," Nunnally replied as she and Sayoko turned towards the open door. "Where's Shirley, Lelouch?"

He sighed, "She never showed up nor could I get a hold of her . . ."

"Perhaps she is getting back at you," Nunnally probed curiously, "You have seemed cold towards her as of late."

"You think so too huh," Lelouch mused aloud. "I'll be nicer then." He looked towards the maid,"Would you mind bringing us some tea Sayoko?" Lelouch asked as he took off his jacket and folded it onto his arms.

"Yes," she nodded resolutely, "As you wish my lord."

Sayoko walked away as Nunnally spoke to her brother, "I get the feeling you're worried about something Lelouch."

He blinked in surprise, "Worried?"

"Does it involve Euphie?" Nunnally smiled guiltily, "Would it be selfish to say I wanted to see her again? I would like to. I admit that, but that would simply cause trouble for you both." Nunnally bit her lip nervously at her admission.

"You like Euphie don't you," Lelouch chuckled lightly.

"Yes, I do like her. Same way you like her." Nunnally nodded happily, "She was always fun. Even back when we were kids."

"Yeah, I did like her," Lelouch muttered sinisterly as he pondered his sister's answer.

"We're bringing you live coverage from the stadium where the inaugural stadium will be held for the Specially Administrated Zone of Japan. The place is already packed full of Elevens–Sorry, I mean Japanese. Those unable to get in are gathered outside the stadium," the reporter said in amazement at the sheer size of the crowd.

"Leslie, do you think Zero will show up here," someone asked the reporter.

"No and we've heard nothing about it at this time," Leslie shook her head.

"Princess Euphemia. It's time," one of the princesses' guards relayed to her.

"Right," she stood up looked at where Zero was supposed to be sitting. Sighing she started to walk forward about to start speaking when the people began yelling in surprise. She looked up and saw a Knightmare. The Gawain.

"Zero," Suzaku was clearly very surprised he appeared at all.

"He came after all!" Euphemia exclaimed happily. A smile spread across her face and Euphemia walked a few steps and greeted Zero with open arms. Her arms extended out in joy, "Zero! Welcome to the Specially Administrated Zone!"

Lelouch looked down at his half-sister, "Greetings Euphemia li Britannia. I wish to request an audience with you."

"Just with me," Euphemia confirmed knowingly as she looked at him.

"Yes. With you and you alone," Zero answered confidently.

"Something major has happened here ladies and gentlemen," Leslie reported, "Zero has just appeared in the open. Under Princess Euphemia's orders he is moving towards the G1."

To ensure her safety her guards checked Zero over with a metal detector. "It's safe your highness." One of the women nod to the princess in assurance.

"Then this way please," Euphemia smiled in content as she started to walk away. She, however, was stopped by Suzaku.

"Princess Euphemia. It's too dangerous to be alone with this man and as your knight I request that you allow me to accompany you for your safety." Suzaku looked at Zero warily before looking back at his princess.

"It's alright Suzaku. Please. Just trust me."

"Come on! How long are we supposed to wait around here," Tamaki, easily the most annoying member of the Black Knights, groaned as they waited. A few of the Black Knights had been positioned within Knightmares in a nearby forest at the ready by their leader.

"Is it not enough for that Zero instructed us to wait here?" Kallen narrowed her eyes in his direction even if he couldn't see it.

"Yeah, whatever," Tamaki off-handedly grounded out.

"First of all, we need to confirm the Empire's true intentions," Ohgi began, but was interrupted.

"Deputy Commander," Tohdoh's voice crackled in over the radio.

"Yes?" Ohgi replied back to him.

"Zero knows their real intentions. Isn't that why he told us to hide in all four directions," Tohdoh asked. Sounding sure of himself.

"A risky assumption," Ohgi's voice crackled.

"He even has Diethard and Rakshata standing by. He's probably planning on assassinating Euphemia." Tohdoh countered.

"Even though the camera's are off you are being extremely careful aren't you?" Euphemia looked at Zero with a small smile as the windows were darkened.

"I've been in hiding for a long time," Zero said as he removed his mask, "Due to a certain empire I'm afraid." With little ceremony Lelouch pulled out a gun hidden in his costume, "this is a gun made out of ceramic and bamboo. It can't be picked up on a metal detector."

"Lelouch. You would never shoot me, would you?" Euphemia asked though not sounding very worried.

"No. I would never do that...you'll be doing the shooting, Euphie."

Princess Euphemia's eyes widen at that, "Huh?"

Euphemia's three guards were watching over the entrance to the G1 when one of them spoke up, "is it really alright leaving the princess alone with Zero?"

Another one shifted uncomfortably. "I don't like it either, but she gave us an order."

The last one grimaced, but tried to be positive. "She can always press the emergency call button."

Suzaku was with them and as he looked at the Gawain he saw C.C.. Though she was within the Knightmare frame and him being able to do so should be impossible. Suzaku narrowed his eyes, "Why are you here?! What are you doing with Zero," he exclaimed as he looked towards her.

"It seems he can see me. Is that because of our indirect contact and what occurred on Kamine Island or is it because he...but if that's the case, then..." C.C. mused to herself from within the cockpit before opening the hatch.

"This ceremony is being broadcast globally and the world is going to watch you, a Britannian princess, shoot Zero. What do you think will happen next," Lelouch, already knowing the answer, smirked.

"Rioting would break out I imagine." Euphemia was frowning at him in disappointment now.

"Exactly and Zero will become a martyr. Tricked into a death trap by the Britannian royalty. Instantly your popularity will crash to earth," he continued to lay out his intentions in front of her. Knowing with his Geass there was nothing she could do about it.

"What kind of nonsense are you saying? You should just tell me to rebuild Japan," she exclaimed in earnest.

"If you force it upon us from on high then you're just as bad as Clovis was." Lelouch announced to her.

This shocked Euphemia, "WHAT?!"

"All tasks at hand have been cleared. After hovering near death Zero will met with cheers once he makes his miraculous recovery. Nobody gives a damn about a reason, but who can resist a miracle? Now. Take the gun," Lelouch said as he flipped the gun in his hand as he extended his arm. The handle of the gun now facing towards the princess.

"Huh?"

"There can only be one messiah you understand? When the people realize you're a false one they all..." Lelouch collapsed onto his knee holding his left eye as he let out a gasp of pain.

C.C. collapsed onto one knee simultaneously with Lelouch, "No! He's reached that point!" C.C. grimaced through the pain as the Geass symbol on her forehead glowed.

Suzaku's eyes widened and ran to her, "Hey! What's wrong," he laid a hand on her shoulder. This transported him into her mind. Showing him mystifying images thanks to Geass. He flinched back a few moments later, letting go of C.C., with a haunted expression on his face. Holding his head he collapsed to his knees before passing out

"Major Kururugi," the woman yelled as they all rushed at C.C.

The blonde of the two males yelled as he grabbed C.C. shoulder and pulled her head back against his gun, "What have you done to him!" C.C. looked into their eyes and they looked into the glowing Geass symbol on her head. They were pulled into a terrifying vision that caused them to quickly pass out as well.

"Lelouch," Euphemia cried out in worry as she hurried up to him. She tried to put her hands on his shoulders.

"STOP IT," Lelouch yelled, slapping away her hand, causing her to fall back. "Stop giving me your pity! Spare me your charity! This something I have to achieve on my own. Now stain your hands with blood, Euphemia li Britannia-" Lelouch was interrupted by Euphemia.

"That isn't my name! I renounced it," she proudly exclaimed.

"What?" The Geass in Lelouch's eye faded in surprise.

"There will probably be a formal announcement issued by the home land any day now, but I've given up my claim for the throne," she smiled serenely and without regret.

"But why? Is it because you accepted Zero?"

"Of course. I have to pay the price for being so selfish, you know. There are the consequences after all."

"I suppose so. It wasn't difficult to give that up for you was it? I suppose you did it for my sake."

Euphemia laughed at that, "Conceited as you always were, but no. I did it for Nunnally. She told me herself, 'All I want is to be by my brother and that's all that matters. I want nothing more'."

"For that petty reason?" Lelouch couldn't keep the slight smile off his face as he shook his head. Astounded.

"That's right Lelouch. That's how I made up my mind. It made me stop and seriously reflect on what is truly important to me in life. Do you understand now? I'm not giving up anything that has any significant meaning or real worth to me. Now you don't need to worry that I'll tell anyone about you."

Lelouch had to laugh at that and so he did. "Cornelia?"

"It's not like we'll never see each other again." Euphemia nodded without a worry.

"Euphie, you are a fool. An amazing fool," he chuckled lightly.

"I know I'm not as smart as you Lelouch, I've never been able to beat you at games or studies, however-"

Lelouch interrupted her, "However, in your usual rushing Euphie-fashion you've managed to win all of it. When I think of you I don't think of a Sub-Viceroy or a princess. I only see the plain, little Euphie you used to be."

"Then will you join plain, little Euphie and help her?" She smiled at him with her eyes sparkling with hope and jutted her hand towards Lelouch.

"Hmpf. You are . . . you are the worst opponent that I've ever faced. You win." Lelouch shook her hand with a sigh.

"Huh?"

"I'll amend my plans to help out your special zone," Euphie smile grew even happier at this. "Though not as your subordinate, understood?"

"Of course," Euphie smile widened as she nodded,"Though you don't have much faith in me do you? Did you honestly believe by simply threatening me that I would shoot you?"

"Oh no. You've got it all wrong. When I really want people to follow my orders they will not refuse me; whether it's to shoot me, to grant pardon to Suzaku, or any order at all really."

"Oh, now you're just being silly. Stop playing with me."

"I'm serious," he laughed lightly as he turned to face her. "For example if I told you to tell the world, as soon as you can, who I really am. As well as where I and my sister have been for the last seven years. You would do it. It doesn't matter how you felt about it."

She shook her head as her eyes became ringed with red, "But why? That would affect Nunnally. Don't force me to say that." Lelouch then realized that somehow she was Geassed by him. Euphemia pulled her arms around herself and tried to resist, but failed. "Never mind!" She giggled innocently,"That's such a wonderful idea. Our family will love that you and Nunnally are alive."

"What! No! Don't listen to that order, Euphie," Lelouch pleaded with her. "Oh no, I've become like Mao. I can't control my Geass!" Euphie didn't listen however and ran down the hall. "I can't justify shooting her! DAMMIT!" Lelouch runs after Euphie as he panicked, "Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn!"

Euphemia walked out to the microphone. "Sub-Viceroy. Where's Zero?" A guard who was sitting on the stage asked curious.

The princess said nothing and approached the microphone, "Everyone! Please listen! I have something important to tell you."

Lelouch with the Zero mask on ran out to find saw Suzaku on the ground. He frowned, but saw him stir. "Good, he's only unconscious."

"Zero has told me to tell you of this!" The Japanese start to cheer at this. Surely it would be great news. The Britannian's didn't share that and were getting a bad feeling. The yells of the Japanese people and Euphie began to wake Suzaku. "My dear half brother, Lelouch vi Britannia, who has been thought dead for the last seven years, is alive!"

Zero was barricaded by two guards as he drew near the stage. "Get away terrorist!"

Lelouch used his Geass to force them to let him through. "Even better news, his sister-" Zero, having finally caught up to her, had run at a speed he himself didn't know he was capable of and tackled Euphemia to the ground. The microphone stand was hit during the tackle. Forcing the microphone stand to sway and fall down beside the two. Then before any of the guards could react, Euphemia said and did something unimaginable to everyone.

She hugged Zero and said "You're here! I love you, brother." Due to the microphone it was heard throughout the stadium and everyone went stock still with shock. Zero managed to stand up with Euphie hugging my and he was trying to fix the problem.

"I-I'm not your brother, Euphie-er . . . I mean Princess Euphemia."

"Of course you are," Euphemia, how Lelouch didn't know, somehow knew exactly how to take off his helmet. Next thing he know her hands were pressing the buttons to release the catch that stopped the mask from falling off.

"Get off me," Lelouch yelled out in a panic. He hadn't realized Suzaku was awake and waiting behind him. Lelouch bumped into him and looked behind him to find Euphemia's knight. "Su-Suzaku." Lelouch took a step back. Now however Euphie was behind him.

With an innocent giggle Euphemia pulled off Zero's mask. Suzaku paled, "Le-Lelouch, " and passed back out from shock. While Euphie managed to get Lelouch, who was completely stunned at this outcome and so didn't fight her, to turn around. The Japanese gasped and didn't know how to react to the idea that their hero was Britannian. Not just Britannian, but a long thought dead prince of the Empire. The Britannian's were just as unsure what to think.

The Gawain moved in front of him and lowered its hand to him, "Get on Lelouch!" C.C.'s voice echoed out and, without hesitation, he climbed into the Knightmare's hand. He had already dialed a number on his cell phone as he grabbed his mask. He, however, didn't realize he was still too close to the microphone.

"Sayoko! Yes I know I have a lot of explaining to do. Just get Nunnally out of Ashford immediately. Go to the safe house-" Lelouch stopped when he heard his voice being projected around the stadium. Making his sister's location known to the world. "DAMMIT! THE MICROPHONE!" The Gawain quickly rose into the air and flew away as Lelouch resumed talking on the phone.

Leaving Euphemia to pick herself back up, and still under the influence of Geass, began to tell everything she knew about where Lelouch and Nunnally have been for the last seven years.

Author's Note 2: There you have it. As it is currently 4 AM in the morning for me...I'll rewrite the next chapter tomorrow and, with luck, have this story completely updated.
