Belly POV
Conrad was being so cranky last night. I had convinced them to all play Life with me while our moms went out to dinner. It was really fun, my cheeks began to hurt from all the laughing.
Steven ended up married to his wife, Denise and they had seven kids, Jeremiah married his wife Christy and they had two kids and I married Parker and we had ten kids.
Conrad wouldn't even play. He just sat on the couch watching whatever was on TV and pouting.
"Hey, Con. You sure you don't want to play?" Steven asked.
Conrad nodded and sighed.
Steven and Jeremiah both looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
"What's up with him?" Steven whispered.
"I don't know, he wasn't like this until after we came in from swimming. He'll change his mood, let's just play" Jeremiah replied.
It was around 8:30pm and our moms were still out.
"I'm going to bed." Conrad announced and headed up the stairs.
"Con, are you okay?" Jeremiah asked him with concern in his tone.
"Yeah, fine." Conrad mumbled and headed up the stairs.
We all looked at each other.
"I'll let my mom know about this when she gets home. There's something wrong..." Jeremiah said.
I've never seen Conrad act like this before. It was very unusual and I was worried.
My mother and Susannah came back around nine thirty. They burst through the door laughing and singing.
We all looked over at them with disoriented looks on our faces and laughed at them.
"Did you kids have a good night?" Susannah asked us.
"Yeah, we did! I think we can say the same for you two…" I said laughing.
Susannah studied the room and asked, "Where's Conrad?"
"Mom, I was going to talk to you about that. He went up to bed about a little while ago. He's not himself, he wouldn't even play with us" Jeremiah explained in a serious tone.
"Hmm…That's not like him. I'll talk to him, don't you worry! You guys should be heading up to bed soon though." Susannah replied.
"Long day tomorrow kids! It's going to be a beach day, we'll be getting up early!" My mom announced.
"Right. Let's clean this up, boys." I said as I glared at them trying to escape.
After we cleaned the game up, I went up to my room to get ready for bed. I loved going to the beach, the boys always buried each other in the sand and I got to use my boogie board. I hoped Conrad would be different in the morning.
