Gwen Stacy lifted her head high, the gloomy afternoon filling Manhattan with agony. Still, people went on to their business whether it be work or school. She shifted her bag from shoulder to shoulder, looking at the building tops. Her eyes fixed on a certain corner where she thought she saw a flash of red and blue.
Maybe it was just my imagination.
Yet she couldn't look away. She wanted it to be true, her doubts. She wanted him to be behind those building tops, watching how she suffered without him by her side.
If he saw me now, what I'm going through, would that make him want to change the scene?
A boy about her age brushed past her, mumbling an apology. She looked ahead and saw a glimpse of a skateboard, reminding her of a certain boy. She shook her head, fixing her bangs with her fingertips. She pushed the thought of him watching her.
"Gwen!" Her platinum blonde hair swung behind as she locked eyes with her best friend, her gorgeous red hair shimmering against the October rain.
"Mary Jane."
A/N: Alright, I fell in love with how Emma and Andrew portrayed their roles in The Amazing Spiderman. So let's give this story a shot yes? A bit OC and doesn't really follow the comics or the movies. In other words, pure fanfiction! Haha. Anyways, please read and review! Thanks.
