I watched a video on youtube kind of about this and it made me inspired. So here is my inspiration!

He looked around.

It was early, his friends wouldn't be up for awhile.

Scanning the city as the sun rose, the thought about his time with his Father.

Not his real Father, but one that he looked up to just the same.

He remembered the talk that he had had with him, and closed his eyes.

The breeze that blew carelessly filled his spine with a chill that he hid well, but took him back to that night.

It was chilly, but he didn't mind. He had been working out, so the sweat that he had worked up, worked as a personal air conditioner whenever the wind blew. His training had been finished an hour or so ago, but he again, he didn't care.

"Richard," he stopped and looked over his shoulder.

He didn't know how he always did that, but somehow Bruce could always sneak up on him.

"What?" He asked, continuing on his training.

"Please, stop for a moment,"

Richard complied and stopped, turning to look over at his adopted Father.

"What?" He tried again.

"There are people out there," Bruce started, sitting on the bench. "And they're going to try to take advantage of the broken, the beaten and the damned,"

"I know," Richard replied. "That's why we do what we do," he said.

"No," Bruce stood up. "What I want to talk to you about," he hesitated for a moment. "It goes beyond that."

"What is it?" He could easily detect the seriousness of the matter.

"I want you to do this for them. I want you to be a savior for them,"

Richard looked up at Bruce.

That was the first time he had saw any sort of age in the man. It was the first time he had see failure in his eyes.

Batman felt like he had failed everyone.

And he didn't want Robin to be the same.

He wanted him to be better.

"Okay," Richard said.

Bruce looked at him, and kneeled down to get a better eye contact.

"One day, I'll leave you," he stated. Richard looked down. "But I want you to defeat all the demons, and the plans that they make,"

Bruce stood, causing Richard to look up, a tear had slid down his cheek. An hand lain on Richard's shoulder. "One day," he said. "I will leave you. But you be their savior, Richard,"

He turned and walked away.

Richard didn't know what to do.

The wind stopped blowing for a moment, and Robin opened his eyes.

He remembered that day. And from that day on, he had considered Batman to be a Father figure of his.

He thought back to the times that he had saved his friends.

He thought back to when he stopped Starfire from leaving, when he saved Raven. Robin could remember talking to Beast Boy about the Beast after a few weeks of letting it die down. He remembered talking to him about Terra. Robin remembered when he and Cyborg talked about how he used to be human.

But the thing that made Robin smile as he looked across the bay at the city, was that he remember how his friend had all saved him.

Yes, he knew how his friends were tough, how they've all had problems, but they would work through them.

They would carry on, no matter what.

Okay, okay, so maybe it was cheesy, and yes I know, Batman would never be like that, but Robin's only... What? Eight or nine, right? So he's gotta be a little softer around a nine year old for crying out loud. Oh! And here be that link to the video, it's very well done and amazing so you gotta watch it... do it... xD watch?v=uRQDFUl7e7k&feature=BFa&list=FLRQe98Bb-s5TQDERiBnQi_w
