More Problems With Wizards
Part I
Daystar and Shiara left the castle for a final walk in the Enchanted Forest,
tomorrow Shiara had to return to the Mountains of Morning and King Kazul
(she was Kazul's princess and had only come to the Enchanted Forest on an
errand and could not stay for very long), Daystar wished that she could stay
forever. They decided to go the Green Glass Pool on the western edge of the
Forest, Daystar could get them there in a matter of seconds, since he was the
Crown Prince, using the magic of the Enchanted Forest but he decided that
they would walk because he wanted a chance to talk to Shiara alone before she
left.
It took them about 2 hours to reach the Pool, but they didn't talk as much as
Daystar would have liked or about what Daystar wanted to talk about. Shiara
talked about what she was learning from Kazul and that Kazul, Mendanbar
(Daystar's Father, the King of the Enchanted Forest), and Telemain had almost
figured out how to fix the spell that Daystar accidentally put on her so that
she didn't have to be polite to do magic.
When they finally reached the Pool, Daystar sat down on the bank and put his
head in his hands, Shiara thought he looked like he was going to cry.
"Daystar, What's wrong?" she asked.
"Sorry. It's nothing, don't worry about it. I'm just kind of stressed, but
it isn't important."
Being a girl, Shiara had used that line before and new that he want to talk.
"Daystar, really, what is wrong? Tell me."
"Oh Shiara, it's just everything. Your leaving, Mother and Father wanting to
send me of to Herman, or whatever his name is, for more "royal training",
plus the wizards trying to steal parts of the forest again, and Morwen and
Telemain's wedding coming up. I just don't know what to do. I'm just tired
and worn out."
"Wait a minute, back up, Wizards?!?"
"Yeah"
"Tell me. Maybe I can help. Or maybe I can tell Kazul and she can. Come
on Daystar tell me."
