Albus Potter sat beneath a tree on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The scene was reminiscent of another nearly forty years before. He was playing with a snitch he had swiped from the quidditch match an hour before. The match had not gone well for Slytherin and to be honest he was sulking a bit. He was flanked by his three best friends Scorpuis Malfoy, Ashton Longbottom and his cousin Rose Weasley. He glanced over to his right only to see Scorpuis and Rose leaning intimately towards each other and talking in hushed whispers. He rolled his eyes, he did think it was nice that they were finally dating but he didn't need to let them know that. It also wasn't going to stop him from taking the mickey out of them every chance he got.

"Get a room you two."

"Sure can we use yours?" Scorpuis replied with a wicked gleam in his eyes. Rose swatted him playfully and adjusted so she was leaning back against him and facing Albus.

"So what are we going to do all day watch the amazing A.S. play with his snitch and sulk?" Ashton said from his left, pronouncing Albus initials so they sound like Ass

Albus returned the favor, "Got something better to do Ash?"

At least he had the tact not to gloat that Gryffindor had just flounced them in quidditch. He was still letting the snitch fly away a little before grabbing it, Ash shrugged in response and grabbed the snitch before Albus could snatch it back.

"Would you quit that its annoying."

Albus leaned back against the tree, if anyone else had told him to stop he wouldn't have. But since it was Ash he took the snitch back and out it in his pocket. It was quiet for several minutes, each person absorbed in their own thoughts. A group of fifth year girls walked by giggling, Lily Potter among them. Albus took no notice of them, until the small red head separated herself from the group and walked gracefully to the grass beside his feet.

"What are you doing?"

"Avoiding fifth years." Albus said, looking at her with only a sneer an older brother could manage. Lily didn't let his attitude sway her she settled down on the grass between him and Ash, swinging her long read hair behind her. "Go away little girl your bothering me."

"I love you to brother dear. So really what are the two best Slytherin quidditch players doing hidden under this tree? Pouting over their loss?"

He figured that was why she had come over to talk to him, rub in the loss. It wasn't bad enough to lose a Quidditch match, but when you lost it because your little sister caught the snitch before you it was downright embarrassing.

"Didn't Mum ever teacher is not lady like to gloat?"

Lily snorted "Didn't Daddy teachers it's not manly to sulk?"

"I'm not sulking!"

"I'm not gloating."

Rose intervened before things got out of hand, "I propose a rematch." She suggested

Four faces turned to her shock; Scorpuis was the first to talk.

"What do you mean rematch?"

"Well Al has the snitch, we all have brooms, and we could play our own little game. It's better than sitting here watching him pout."

"Brilliant" Scorpuis said kissing Rose soundly on the mouth and causing Albus to make a gagging noise.

"Very mature" Rose muttered

Fifteen minutes they all meant back under the tree brooms in hand, having run to their prospective dorms to collect them, and Rose began to lay down the rules.

"Well obviously we can't play regular Quidditch, no beaters, chasers and such. So we'll all have to be Seekers and team up. Someone will have to be referee since we are oddly numbered."

Lily volunteered saying "That was when we win Al won't be upset his little sister beat him again."
