[A/N Ok guys' soo umm yeah it's been awhile, but before you grab your pitch forks and torches hear me out ok. –hand up in surrender- I have my reasons AND their good! Okay 1st off I moved out of my home town. 2nd I had no internet. 3rd all my fanfic's were on my laptop and I left it. Soo yeah don't kill me. Please!}
We had a new teacher in school. He was the new Latin teacher. Last week he gave us a paper to write over the Greek god Poseidon. I thought it was easy….. Well not writing it, but I already knew all of Poseidon's myths. It took me all week to write it, only 300 words. It's due tomorrow and I couldn't sleep. The thought of Mr. Bruner laughing at me was too much. I drive myself crazy thinking about it. Please don't laugh at me, was my only thought as I walked to his class. The only class I tried in. He was sitting at his desk when I walked in. Please. All the times my other teachers laughed at me running through my mind. I rushed to my seat hoping he would call me to read my essay last. Class Started. He looked at me.
"Class you only need to read your opening paragraph, alright." Everyone nodded. "Frist to read is…. Percy."
Everyone laughed, but not Mr. Bruner. I stood up and walked to the front of the room acting like I didn't care.
"The Greek God of the Sea, Poseidon. One of the three sons of Kronos, the Titan of Time. Poseidon has many myths written about him. His title being God of the Sea, Bringer of Storms, Earthshaker, and Father of Horse's." I read stumbling over the words I had written. Everyone laughed but stopped when Mr. Bruner said if they didn't they'd get written up.
"Good job, Percy. I can't wait to read the rest of your paper." He smiled at me, as if I was his star student already. I smiled back and handed him my paper. Walking back to my seat I knew he would never laugh at me.
