Lena was walking through the thick copse of trees, hand in hand with Alex. They stopped as Julian strode toward them, a glare fixed upon his face. Lena pulled her hand away, blushing. Julian stopped in front of her. "Lena, why did you bring me here?" He asked her. She looked at him. "Because I wanted you to be free, and...and I liked you. Maybe even loved you." She said quietly. The word love was still a bit strange on her tongue, but she was getting used to it more and more each day. Julian huffed. "Yeah? Well, seeing you holding hands and hanging around him all the time isn't what I'd call free." He hissed, glancing at Alex, who was watching the exchange awkwardly. Lena sighed, close to tears. "Julian...I've already told you about this...I didn't even know Alex was alive when I met you. I did like you, amd I still do, but me and Alex have been through so much..." she said quietly. Julian laughed. "And we haven't? Lena, we were prisoners together. We escaped together. I saw you..." he trailed off. Lena blushed, now glaring at Julian. "Julian! I told you to never-" "Wait WHAT?" Alex interrupted, fuming. "LENA! He...he saw you!? You never told me that!" He exclaimed, furious. He lunged at Julian, who backed away hastily, tripping and falling down. Alex was on him in an instant, punching him in the face. Lena couldn't pull him off or stop him. When Alex finally stopped, Julian's face was covered in blood, and he wasn't breathing. Lena ran and knelt beside him, crying. Alex was still seething about Julian "seeing" Lena. Lena's tears finally dried and she got up, not looking at Alex. "You let him, didn't you?" Alex asked her, his voice quiet but furious. Lena quickly shook her head, stepping back. "N-no, I was getting dressed and he came from out of nowhere." She replied. Alex huffed. "I'm glad he's dead. I'm the only one! I'm the only guy who's allowed to see you in anything less than fully dressed, okay!?" He growled, and Lena nodded nervously. "O-okay, Alex. Just calm down..." She said, kissing him gently. Alex kissed her back, a bit deeper each time. He gently eased Lena and himself onto the ground, her on top of him. Lena's eyes widened. "Alex...?" She murmured softly. Alex smiled reassuringly. "It'll be okay, Lena..." he murmured in reply, gently pulling off her shirt. Despite the heat, she shivered. Alex took off his own shirt, their skin pressed together. They kissed, and Alex started to gently trail kisses along her jawline, down to her neck and back up. She didn't even notice her bra slip off until she saw it next to them on the ground. She blushed, but Alex smiled and said, "Beautiful." Lena thought back to when he had said the same thing back in Portland, at that old, abandoned house in Deering Highlands. She smiled, then they started to kiss again. They stripped fully after a while, and for the first time since they had gotten back together, she felt the world slip away, and it was just them...
