Shalon never noticed.
Break was changing.
She sat infront of him, a bright white tea cup in her hand.
What are you thinking?
Shalon thought as she watched his movements.
His fingers dragged across the table before grabbing a small cake with his index finger and thumb.
"You're very quiet, Mi'lady..." Break lowly chuckled before shoving the pastry in his mouth.
Shalon's lip trembled as she watched him.
What's wrong with him?
She shrugged at his statement "It's nothing..." she whispered. As she stared into the ruby colored liquid the smell of lemons rose around her.
Break tilted his head, his eyes shut. He soon leaned back, yawning.
Shalon winced slightly, hitting the table with her elbow.
"Break!" Shalon stood up, slamming her tea cup down. She walked to him rather quickly.
Placing her hand on his cheeks, she examined him. Her eyes softened "What's wrong with you?" she questioned.
Break didn't open his eyes, he only smiled and placed his hands on hers. "Nothing you will be worried about..." he said calmly.
Shalon's eyes watered slightly. She felt like a child that had a toy taken away "P-please! Tell me!" she slid her hands up his smooth cheeks and opened his eye.
Shalon's eyes widdened and she stepped away. Tears streamed down her face "B-Break....Y-you're...." she ran out of the room.
Slamming the door, she leaned her back against the wall.
How long did he intend on not teling her this?
His red eye was murky. It lost it's sharpness. It lost it's glow. It was....cloudy.
Shalon's hands trembled as she touched her face.
Shivering, Shalon turned to the door.
Break walked to the door and opened it. "You know now?" he smiled slightly.
Shalon's mouth was slightly open, her eyes where shut. She gasped and sobbed "Why didn't you tell me!?" she screamed.
Break found his way to wrap his arms around her. "If I told you....you'd worry...." Break muttered.
Shalon looked up at him.
That eye....
Break kneeled down, touching her lips with an index finger. He soon kissed her, rubbing her back.
Shalon's eyes widdened, more tears streaming. Those eyes closed soon, she gave in to him.
Warmth, she presed her hands against his chest.
He's blind.....
She thought.
