I sighed as the winds blew my hair around. Percy was currently giving Rachel Dare a tour of Camp Half Blood. You might be thinkin, Is Jealous!

I closed my book and cursed under my breath. So many people have liked Percy, and I was always in the background, hoping he didn't fall for them. I heard the horn call for dinner. I grudgingly trudged to camp, only to be stopped by a shimmer of light. I shielded my face so she wouldn't be blinded. When the shimmer died down, there was a figure of a woman.

Aphrodite. Great. Just what I need.

"I see you are having difficulties with your relationship. I'll have you know Athena is rejoicing." I hoped that last part was a joke.

"I can help you know." Aphrodite had an evil glimmer in her eyes.

I stepped left, but Aphrodite stepped left. I stepped right, but the goddess did the same.

"Listen, Aphrodite, it's dinner time. I need to be going now." The love goddess wasn't going to let her leave that easy.

Aphrodite pulled out a vial.

"A love potion." My name and Percy's was written on it.

"I don't want it." I wasn't going to force Percy to love me.

"Oh you'll keep it." She left, leaving the potion in my hand. I chucked the vial across the field.

At dinner, the vial appeared in my pocket.

And that's when it started.

All week long I tried to get rid of it. I threw it in the ocean. I chucked it out of the borders. I asked the hephastus kids to make the most destructive weapon they could make.

It wouldn't break.

It always came back.

Always.
