A/N: This is an ORIGINAL story made by me, so please no one steal from this?
This story was made 6 months ago during school, so it might have some of the same names from from "The life of Angelique and Adelynn" in it.

Prologue

Her feet pounded against the gravel as she ran. She could here the shouts from behind her.

"Get back here!" "We won't hurt you if you come nicely." they yelled, over and over again.

She kept running. Not believing them. 'I don't want this to happen again!' she thought as she came to a dead-end in the alleyway.

Tears ran down here face as the men cornered her.

"Please? Why are you doing this?" she cried. "Why me?"

"It's ok, little lady. It'll all be over soon!" one of the thugs told her.

She could tell they weren't drunk by the way they talked. She wanted to know, why were they doing this then!

She noticed he was the biggest, maybe the leader. He had two more men beside him. The one in the middle grabbed and forced her to the ground. She screamed as he jabbed a knife into her side, right above her waist. Her eyes widened, she hadn't seen any weapons! She was terrified.

Trying to get out of his grip seemed impossible, but she managed to get her right hand free. She clawed at his face. Only to get kicked by one of the others.

Blood ran down her forehead due to the hard impact of the ground. The man she had just tried to hurt, pulled her by her arm, putting the knife to her throat. Running his free hand down her side.

She bit his hand that was near her face. As a reaction, the man bashed the handle of the knife against her head.

A scream of pain escaped her mouth as she fell to the ground. Everything was going black. All of the men were coming towards her.

Suddenly they turned away. They fell to the ground screaming, clutching their heads.

There was no blood, only looks of horror on their faces.

She tried to get up, only to fall in her puddle of blood again. Looking around for help, trying to stay conscious, she saw a flash of black.

Before she could see what it was, she slipped into unconsciousness.
