"I don't believe in love."

She said it like she might have said, "Hi, my name's Olette, I'm almost seventeen," and she said it like she was one hundred percent confident about it. Her voice didn't falter, and she didn't twirl her bracelet like she did when she was nervous or unsure of what to say.

She said it like she had thought on it, thought on it hard and long. And he thought that maybe he understood, with all the artificial things in the world, but that didn't stop him from disagreeing with her; maybe Roxas had broken her heart, but he wasn't like him.

"Well, I do."

And even though she said she didn't believe, it didn't, couldn't, wouldn't stop him from loving her.

(he also never knew she was lying to herself and everyone else, just so she didn't get hurt again)
