A mistake- an accident,
a lonely disaster.
Something made in darkness
To take the pain away faster.
Brought in by people
With hearts pure as gold,
But with their price of such chaste
Ours are already sold.
Nobody sees us,
We just slip right through.
Fading by life
Like we're created to do.
There are some who look down,
And say that we're doomed.
They see us as tools,
To be sculpted and used.
Our pasts are all
That we claim as our own.
This feeling of hate;
Of anger has slown.
We can't even love,
Or feel when love's true.

How would you feel if it
happened to you?

We were not created
to travel that far,
We're only a short-lasting,
burning out star.
Doomed to a fate
That no one can tame.
Restlessly looking for
Someone the same.
And when we find them,
We're slightly less blue.
Only to find them
Fading away too.
Struggling and searching
For words we can't find
To describe how lonely
We're feeling inside.
We know that we're wanted
To make you complete.
But did anyone stop
And think of our dreams?
Did anyone slow down,
To just face the truth?

How would you feel if it
happened to you?

It's a prison, we're kept
Inside you to be,
Whatever you make us,
Or want us to be.
We're spirited away
From all that we know,
All we have is eachother
To find our way home.
Desperately clinging
To that last hope inside,
In those very last moments
When we walk our last stride.
A trek known to be long overdue,

But how might you feel if it
happened to you?

The life of a nothing,
The life of a fault.
Safely departed
From you're gold-hearted vault.
And barely- a moment,
In the midst of this fear
Comes forth something better:
Out comes forth care.
It slowly seeps in
Through the absence and pain.
It lessens the burden
Of fading again.
But everything's fleeting,
Not even love stays.
But again it will whisper
On our darkest of days.
And we'll see them
Once more, on that warm brightened street.
We'll talk of how lucky
It is we can meet.
And so even Nobody
Can make us be whole,
Your hearts aren't the only ones
Who get to feel gold.
Because even though hearts
Aren't something we own
We'll always have promise...

Then we're never alone.

Just a poem I wrote and wanted to add on here... :)
