Monika stared blankly at the wall where her precious picture frame used to be hung.
It was easy for her mind to betray her with thoughts of Felicia Vargas and the endless joy that she'd brought her.
Felicia was the first person that Monika genuinely fell for, introducing her to love.

Monika felt like all of her past romances were bland when compared to the Italian woman's relationship with her.
The issue arose in the fact that Monika could not have Felicia back as she left in a way similar to everything she did like a sudden wave or a gust of wind.

Felicia was one to go with the flow and changed people like Monika forever.

Sure, Monika was heartbroken and distraught over how Felicia had left her, but there was something to be said over how much one could love someone else and how that love would refuse to fade despite everything else; any wounds hid it while time healed it and replenished that old love.

Felicia had left Monika for Lovino Vargas, the brother of Felicia.

It scared Monika in a way while at the same time explained her feeling of unease around Lovino as well as the fact that she felt that she felt that he didn't like her much despite having treated her like a lady.

It was strange for her to think that her bisexual ex-girlfriend would leave her for the said ex's very own brother.

Monika tried not to let her jealousy bite her and cause her to desperately hate the Vargas family for all of this, and for the most part, she was successful.

She sighed as she thought back to all of her past relationship with Felicia and how all of it was the best part of her life no matter how short it seemed to have lasted now.
