Humble Beginnings

Jiraiya always believed that he was a rather classic man.

He wasn't.

Maybe the idea of him was. He was an author, a sage, widely known as a gallant, and a powerful yet gentle shinobi. Surely what every woman would swoon over.

But they didn't.

So Jiraiya, a young man fantasizing about the anticipation, lust, and drama love could bring, got creative. And as the ideas began filling his mind, he wrote a book, and eventually, a series of books.

A series of books that made Tsunade worried, Orochimaru disapointed, and Sarutobi-sensei horny.

His creativity became one of his best known skills, only second to his renowned shinobi status. So, he decided that writing could be his thing. If Tsunade had her gambling and Orochimaru had his experiments, then Jiraiya could have his own little hobby too.

Plus, now he could excuse his peeping as research.

It would be great.
