On rainy days, Sakura likes to sleep in. On snow days, Sakura likes to sip hot chocolate in a huge green blanket after an intense snowball fight with Ino. During the summer she enjoys buying ice cream cones and going shopping to add new things to her ever-growing accessory collection. On the weekend before school starts, Sakura loves to have a last-day-of-freedom sleepover. On the first day of school she loves to look and feel her best in the most comfortable clothes she owns and supports a banana flavored lip balm tucked away in her back pocket. During lectures, she often finds herself doodling in the corners of her papers. It's never an actual picture, just lines crossing in many directions with random strings of hearts. No picture was complete without her thumb accidentally sliding over the graphite and smearing everything, so Sakura took a vow that from now on lecture-doodles are only permitted to be in existence when she has a pen, absolutely no pencil.
On a chilly December day, she snuggled up in her jacket and headed over to the store to buy new pens because that was the one thing she just didn't have. She picked up a huge pack with difference colors to give her variety. Who says she'll always want the same color all of the time? Writing in green ink is surprisingly fun. That upcoming Monday Sakura packed her skittle colored pens in her bag and headed for school, excitement washing over her.
Kakashi-sensei's class was her first period, and hardly anything ever went on in there, so she could try out her new pens. Sakura claimed her seat near the window and got a few pieces of notebook paper from the windowsill and got out her pens. She smiled as the pink pen showed no signs of life, just a little indent on the page. She kept doodling and writing as if the pen actually worked, so when it sprang to life she ignored it and kept going. When the class was over she looked over her piece of art. There were many colors of circles, triangles, hearts, phrases, pretty much anything and everything on the page overlapped with the small indents of the newly activated pens.
She closed her papers in her textbook and walked out of class, a sense of accomplishment washing over her. After all, Sakura's favorite past time is breaking in pens.
