Ali's P.O.V.

I walked onto the terrace with everyone in mission mode. There was a box on the edge of the wall that was about to fall.

"It's Roman and Riker!" Skylar answered my unasked question.

"No, it isn't." I said picking up the box before it fell over.

"NO!" Everyone shouted.

"It's my stuff I forgot from my trailer. My dad sent it in." I explained.

"Then why was it dropped from the sky!" Oliver said not sounding convinced.

"Because he got a promotion and wanted to use his new helicopter." I replied.

"Oh, do you have to have an answer for everything?!" Oliver put his hands up in frustration.

"Yes," I smiled. "Yes I do."

I sat down and opened up the box. Inside was a backpack stuffed with all my things. I started to pull out half-finished inventions.

"Why are they unfinished?" Chase asked curiously.

"Because I didn't have the right parts, but now I do." I said mischievously.

I proceeded to pull out several pictures of my dad and I. Then I pulled out a faded whitish-grayish sweater that had a hood and was so old it was nearly see-through.

"Eww. Who would wear that?" Bree said clearly disgusted.

"It was my mom's. Our mom." I said quietly.

"Oh." Bree said sadly.

"I thought we didn't have a mom." Chase said thoughtfully.

"She died in childbirth. Daniel was the last bionic in our family." I said feeling tears coming. I quickly wiped them away and reached back into the backpack. I pulled out several bracelets and necklaces that look like my dad's.

"Douglas must have put his jewelry in by mistake. That guy has bad fashion sense." Kaz gave a short laugh.

"These are mine." I turned to him.

"Oh. Oops." He turned bright red.

"It's okay." I told him. "Like father, like daughter."

I put my hand back in.

"Looks like that's it." I said getting up.

"Who wants to go see a movie?" Kaz asked obviously still embarrassed.

Five 'I do!'s later, we headed out bickering about which movie we should watch.
