AU alert. I really should write more fem!harry/Percy, it is a fun pairing to write. And I made this a separate story to my collection to celebrate a new year of the houses competition!

A cold wind blew across Godric's Hollow, bringing the air of early spring. No one was out now, except for Percy Weasley. He had just returned from a trip in Austria and had arrived back in England late that evening.

Finally, he reached his and his wife, Holly Weasley Nee Potter's home. From the looks of it, she had decided to wait up for him. "That's nice of her," Percy thought as he opened the gate.

As he did, there was a screech that made him jump a little. Percy looked up to see an eagle owl flying over his head and over the house. 'I did not think they lived around here anymore.'

Percy continued on until he reached the front door, where he stopped to open it before going inside. Percy called as he shut the door, "I'm back."

"We're in the kitchen!" the voice of Holly called.

"I wonder who's we?" Percy wondered as he dropped his case next to the door and walked into the kitchen. Holly and his brother George were in there drinking tea.

"Welcome back. How was your trip, brother dearest?" George asked, turning around in his seat.

"Welcome back!" Holly exclaimed at the same time as George spoke, and she leapt up and gave her husband a hug.

"Thank you, darling," Percy said hugging her and kissing her on the cheek. When they broke their hug, Percy then spoke to George, "Thank you, George."

"Sit down and I'll make you a quick tea," Holly said, insisting he did so.

"Okay, thanks," Percy nodded, sitting down while Holly got up and made him a tea.

Right then, an eagle owl flew in and around. After flying around for a while it settled on a perch in the corner. "Since when have you had an owl, Holly?" Percy asked.

"I found the poor creature injured a few days ago. It's much better now, but it has decided to stay; haven't you, Artemis?" Holly said coming over to George and Percy. She placed a cup of tea just next to Percy then sat down.

"Thanks. I did not think they lived here anymore," Percy commented.

"They are trying to come back, but unfortunately Muggles keep destroying their nests because they don't want them," Holly explained. Then she said, "It's such a pity because eagle owls are beautiful."

"They are," Percy and George nodded.

"I hope you don't mind me asking, but what are you doing here, George?" Percy asked his younger brother.

"Well, Holly was feeling a bit lonely and I wanted to welcome my brother back, so I spent the evening here," George explained.

"Right, should I check the house for pranks?" Percy questioned.

"No need, George has been very well behaved. The worst he did was turn Artemis into a peacock, and that was bad because eagle owls are prideful," Holly said.

"Poor Artemis," Percy said, trying not to laugh. What are welcome home!
